Personality>> Dezz is a naturally warm horse but has that natural willingness to please and a self-drive to hone in on whatever it is that his rider is asking of him. He's very sensitive and can quickly pick up on whatever his rider is trying to communicate and also make things a lot more progressive when training.
When under the saddle, he's very serious and that feeds into his drive for performance, but in the barn, he can be a complete goofball. He's a barn prankster and is known to grab feed bowls and blankets and throw them for fun, just to watch you pick it up again.

Basic History>> A.J. has been Dezz's sole owner and rider. He was twenty when he picked Dezz out of a lineup of Dutch Bloodstock as a yearling and Dezz became his first training project. With the help of his own mentors, he took the gelding's training with passion and gusto.
He learned quickly just how sensitive of a horse he was and when they were just starting out, this set them back a good bit because there would be days he just wouldn't have any of the training nonsense, but as he matured, Dezz became something breathtaking to behold. It was when Dezz turned ten, that the duo had really begun to hit their stride and perform on the Grand Prix levels, but A.J. had to step back a bit to focus on jobs and the lot, so their performance record was very spaced out, but A.J. never neglected his training. Now at 16 years old, Dezz has never been as level-headed or as prime to start performing again and now both have the time needed to pursue their performance careers.
