Tori refused to spend her entire summer vacation training her horses, as she didn't want to start the new school year with them both being arena-shy and completely over-worked. So, today she grabbed all her flashy horse-beauty bottles and took them to the wash rack. She then had a decision of which of her two horses to pretty up, and in the end the decision was an easy one, as Poe was the more obvious of the two to actually put up with this.
Heading into Red Willow, she collected Poe, and led the Quarter Horse to the wash racks. "You'll have all night to get yourself all dirty and smelly again." She told him with a laugh as she tied his rope to the twine on the hitching ring and then turned the hose on. After all, the best way to start a beauty treatment was to wash the hair first.

Samson whistled softly to himself as he walked across the yard, swinging a halter loosely from one hand. His day's training over, he'd had quite enough of horses for the time being- something that he never thought he'd catch himself thinking, ever- and now he was headed back to the tack room and then his room to shower when he found himself walking past the wash racks and paused. Had that been where he'd left his grooming kit? It wasn't like Samson to lose things... well, no, he lost things all the time, but not usually horse-type things, if only because there were only a limited number of places where they could be. His grooming kit had been missing for a couple of days now, though, and while he had been able to borrow a friend's in the interim, he really needed to find it sooner or later.
Turning to enter the racks, he raised an eyebrow slightly at the words that he heard, and though he knew they weren't directed to him, he just couldn't resist. "Exactly what do you think I get up to?"

Tori was just about to tip some of the rosewater shampoo onto her hand when she gained an answer to her comment. She arched an eyebrow at Poe before looking out of the rack they were in and she laughed. "While I really want to ask, I'm kind of afraid of what the answer will be." She laughed again as she returned her attention to the shampoo and squirted a small amount onto her hand. "Though I'm sure this stuff will be great for your hair too. It even has sun fade brighteners in it, and smells so good." She rubbed her hands together to create a lather and then began to massage it into the gelding's mane, working roots to tips.

Samson grinned. "I'll keep that little bit of information to myself, then." Curiosity was a curse sometimes, and there were always so many questions to be asked; he found it kind of odd to come across anyone with such self-restraint, but then maybe that was another thing that that shampoo did. Who knew? "And maybe I'll have to get myself some. Can't do any harm, right?" Well, it probably could, but there was no fun in life without just a little bit of danger. "By the way, don't suppose you've seen a grooming kit lying around anywhere in there? I really can't work out what I've done with it."

Tori pouted at the answer from her fellow cheerleader. "What's said in the wash racks, stays in the wash racks?" She said with a laugh. She studied him, pretending to take his word seriously. "It is called Cowboy magic, so it might do something for you." She said with a nod, and an impish grin. "The green spot remover works wonders too." Which it did, as Poe was known for having a green nose and muzzle the morning of a show.
She grimaced slightly at the mention of a grooming kit. "There is a very wet looking box on the other side of the wall." She said, nodding her head in the direction she was talking.

The blond boy grinned, shrugging his shoulders. "Hey, if I can't trust a fellow cheerleader, who can I trust?" A lot of people, probably, but he liked Tori; she was a pretty nice person, so far as he was concerned, and had a sense of humour, more importantly. Unlike some people, who had such a fixation with becoming rich and famous that they never stopped to have fun. What was the point of life if you couldn't enjoy it?
"I don't tend to get a lot of green spots, but I could definitely try the shampoo. Hey, if it works, you could use it too- save money." If it didn't, he'd be stuck looking a bit of an idiot for a while, or possibly bald, but that was a different problem. "And oooh, that look on your face doesn't bode well. Of all the places to forget it..."
