Wearing her cheer uniform with her ipod firmly in its holder, which was strapped around her upper left arm, the plugs in her ears as she listened, to the one song she had on repeat, as she walked down to the field. Being a Sunday afternoon, she was hoping that the field would be empty as she tried to work through the last of the dance move to her new cheer routine before she showed it to Andie and then taught it to the rest of the squad.
She blew out a breath as she walked into the middle of the field and placed her bag on the ground before stepping away from the bag, so that she wouldn't kick it or trip over it while she was working on the dance and dance and gymnastic moves for the routine. She did three front handsprings followed by a front tuck and misplaced her feet on the landing, falling on the ground. "Of all the stupid things to do!" She screamed as she stood up and stalked over to her bag to find her drink bottle.
After taking a drink, she threw the bottle on the ground - more to make herself feel better than for the need to throw it - and walked back to her place to start it over again. Once the music started again, she started going through the motions of her routine.
She was so caught up in what she was doing that she didn't even think to see if she was being watched or not.

Blythe could guess where her roommate had gone, after all, Cortney had left in her cheer uniform. However, in the time where she finished up her homework and changed into her own cheer clothes, although no uniform for her yet, the girl had disappeared, so it was up to Blythe to find her if she wanted someone to work with. While they had gotten off to a rocky start, by now she respected the captain, who mostly knew what she was doing anyway. Grabbing her SanDisk music player, she clipped it to the band that went around her upper arm.
Cortney wasn't in the gym, where Blythe had expected her, after all. However, the blonde refused to let herself be bothered and made her way out to the field, where it seemed, the cheer team had a second base. This time, her guess was correct, and she approached, watching Cortney doing what looked like a routine. She leaned against the fence of the field, watching her roommate, trying to figure out if this was just a new routine that was being worked out, or if the practice of an old routine was really this necessary for the captain, even if she was new.
