Blue Ridge is a fictional town located deep in the heart of Kentucky. It is home to one of the most well known equestrian academies in the United States. Students and staff from all over the world join the academy for what it has to offer. Do you have what it takes to join us and learn from the Academy?

Although she was anything but horsey, Monique had a soft spot for the pony that taught her daughter to ride, and since Aurora had left Blue Ridge to go and live with her grandparents and have as normal a life as she could, the drama teacher had found the taking the Shetland Pony out for walks each day made her feel slightly closer to the girl. Rory had taken her two horses with her when she had left, and was boarding them at a riding barn not too far away from where she now lived, so the teen could ride and compete as much as she pleased.
Clicking her tongue, she drew the skewbald's attention away from the grass he had found and led him toward the area where the cross country courses were found. She had no intention of making the gelding go flying over any of the jumps, but she liked the large grassy area and it gave her a good place to walk the little pony while staying out of the way of the riders around the campus. Although she knew that she shouldn't, the woman was guilty of taking Tonka's lead off so that the pony could roll in the long grass. She could probably let him roll while she still had him on the lead rope, but she was always worried that he would get tangled up so she felt it was better to remove the rope.
She laughed as the pony lifted his head, ears pricked forward, nostrils flared, as he worked out where they were going and he picked up his pace with a high-stepped walk, as eager to get to the grassy area as she was.
