Prue made her way down the paths from the apartment building to the memory garden. Today she was dressed in black skinny jeans and a pale pink sweater. The weather was steadily cooling down, and her small frame was beginning to feel it. However, she wasn't going to let cool weather keep her indoors, not when there was a hint of blue sky outside. Sure, apart from where the blue could be seen, the clouds were heavy and grey, but she wasn't going to let that stop her from enjoying what little vitamin D that she could get.
Entering the memory garden, she looked around at the flowers that were dying off and the trees that were a multitude of glorious fall colours. There was something about this season that made her happy and sad at the same time. All the colours made her happy, but the dying plants made her sad, a kind of paradox.
She walked over and sat down on one of the benches, pulling her legs up so that she was sitting cross-legged and she leaned her arms on her legs as she thought about what she could do with her dance class next. It was hard to know what they really thought of the Pandora's box thing, because if she asked them, she couldn't guarantee an honest answer, because most teenagers just said what they thought the adult wanted to hear, and she almost didn't want to know what they were saying to each other about it.
