"There's so much more to a book than just the reading."
-Maurice Sendak
What you heard was true, she was a book nerd. Callie wandered around campus, map in hand, trying to figure out her way to the library. Luckily, all her geographic classes had started to come in handy, and she found the library easily. She smiled upon finding it, not just pleased that she managed to find it at all, but it had a little charm about it, something that just said, 'come sit down and read every book I hold'. Something... Something inviting about it. But then again to Callie, what library didn't?
She walked in, holding back a gasp. Thousands of books of different sizes and colors lined the walls, and plenty of seating options littered the center. To Callie, this was heaven, and reading was the only thing she'd rather be doing that riding and singing, in which she had already done both that day. With nothing else to do, she decided she would come check the library out, and she was not disappointed. Her only problem was that she didn't know where to start.
She lingered around, here and there, picking random books off the shelves that had interesting-looking covers and scanning the back, but she always ended up putting them back. A sudden thought hit her. The library was fairly empty, with only a few other people-including the librarian-actually in the building. Surely the library wasn't a more desirable hangout place when you had the rec room, but surely there would be more people? Callie just dismissed the thought. More books for me to choose from.
