Amber went home for the weekend that followed her brother's eighteenth birthday. Unfortunately, their father had some important business to attend to this weekend and couldn't be home, so they didn't have to worry about hiding anything. This meant that when her brother tried a new form of sex, which he had threatened, and it was really painful for Amber and she couldn't help but scream and cry, he just kept on doing it because he didn't have to worry about their dad hearing and he was too upset with Amber to feel bad and stop because of her crying, like he usually did. Usually he just did it once of twice, when Amber was home on the weekends, but this weekend he had done it on Friday night, twice on Saturday and again on Sunday morning and, since he had convinced his mother to let him take Amber and Rapunzel back to school by himself, again in a parked trunk on Sunday evening. He comforted her after every time and reminded her that he loved her, but he didn't apologize because it was his birthday weekend.
Amber had been sore since he had raped her on Friday evening. Whenever the pain had even began to subside, he would do it again. Her mother didn't mind her sitting around most of the day, which she would normally be upset by, which just made things worse because it was just more proof that she really did know about it but she made no attempt to stop it. Each time he had ignored her cries and just kept on doing it and Amber understood why but it had still been terrifying and torturous, but she knew that he was sorry even if he didn't say it.
When she got back to school on Sunday evening, she was still really sore and it especially hurt to move. She had barley managed to get Rapunzel to her stall and feed her and get to the Red House. She stopped to take a small break, again, and looked up at the stair case. She knew that going up the stairs would hurt even more then just walking. She wondered if maybe she could rush up the staircase and maybe not feel anything until she stopped, but she tried and it didn't work. She ended up stopping halfway, crouching over in pain and lying down on the steps. She knew that she should try to get up before somebody saw, but she had no motivation. She felt tears streaming down her face and she was so tired of tears and fear and pain.
