Turn away 'cause I need you more
Personality>> Elliot is that one guy that everybody knows. He's very outgoing and sociable and is almost always surrounded by a large circle of friends. Some say it's because he's always smiling and making jokes. Others would argue it's because his reckless nature provides for good entertainment.
While typically friendly, Elliot also has a rather large ego. When it comes down to it, he refuses to be anywhere but the top. In his circle of friends, he insists on being the best, though he doesn't usually let it interefere with friendships too much. However, his desire to be the best drives him to have many talents and be very open to trying new things. In his mind, there's nothing he can't conquer and strive to be the best at.
His high energy calls for a lot of showing-off and he's usually the kid getting hurt in some way, though he doesn't let it slow him down. He has a thirst for adverture that seems unquenchable. He can turn a boring day-to-day to routine to a day you'll never forget in a heartbeat, all thanks to a very child-like view of the world. He's not the type to worry over the future or think of the past. Instead, he tries to focus on the here and now and live life as if it could end any moment. Most people find it hard to keep up with him, but those who can are always in for a treat.
However, Elliot can be quite a smartass and often times plain rude. No one really knows if he does it on purpose or if he's just clueless that he's an ass at times. One thing's for sure, his mouth can sometimes get him into a lot of trouble. It's heard a few punches and slaps in his day, but he clearly hasn't learned his lesson. He's a stubborn boy and does sometimes break the rules, though he isn't the type to drag anyone else down with him.
Despite his many flaws, he's loyal to his friends and would put his ego and and recklessnesss aside just to be there for them and help in any way he could. He never lets a friend down so long as he can help it and always makes up for it when he does.
Likes>> Dogs, adventure, muscle cars, green, soccer, basketball, challenge, technology, video games, movies, soda, grilled food, parties, brunettes, trying new things
Dislikes>> Washing dishes, talking on the phone (he's more of a texting fan), reality shows, baseball, children, big trucks, shorts, crew socks, waking up early, cigarettes
Fears>> Not living life to the fullest and dying young
Hopes>> Become a car designer/test driver, raise a Thoroughbred from birth, write a story
Secrets>> Elliot has a child somewhere thanks to a drunken mistake he made just over a year ago. He never told anyone - not even his friends, parents, or sister. When the mother of his child tried to track him down, he removed all traces of his social media and tells everyone that he just doesn't see a point in social media when you can actually go out and meet people. He also had his number changed when she called him and he pretended to be someone else.
It’s the way I’m feeling I just can’t deny
Appearance>> Elliot stands at a average 6' even and hasn't grown an inch since he was 16. He isn't scrawny, however. Instead, he has a rarely fair build and tends to keep himself healthy and in shape. He has a rather wide jaw, though it seems to work in his favor. He's a rather attractive young man and can be quite cocky about it.
His dark brown hair makes for a nice contrast against his green eyes. His skin is usually somewhat tanned, though not too much. As far as overall appearance goes, he's actually very picky about the way he dresses and looks. He goes for nothing less than casual with a little bit of class. His hair is most commonly slicked back, though he tries not to go too hard on the gels.
His choice of style is also something he's picky about. Typically, he dresses in khakis or nice jeans with a button down, which is always tucked in. He never leaves home without a belt and his choice of shoes - depending on what the day has in store - can range anywhere from sandals to skate shoes to boots.
Markings>> There are several scars on his hands and arms from working on cars with his father, but none of them are noticeable at first glance.
There is a large scar down his left calf from a dirt bike riding accident and another scar on his left hip from the same accident.
But I’ve gotta let it go
Medical History>> Typical childhood illnesses except chicken pox.
Broke two ribs in a dirt bike accident.
Criminal History>> Spent the night in a juvenile detention center after he and a few friends broke into a local gym to use the basketball court.
Full History>> Elliot was born to Amanda and Tanner Dean in Livingston, Montana. His father owned a mechanic shop and his mother was in the real estate business, though business was never too good. He was an only child for just two years before his sister, Annabelle, was born. Growing up, the two were inseperable.
Wherever Elliot went, Belle was happy to follow. Except when he went to the mechanic shop, that is. While Elliot showed an insatiable love for all things cars, his sister did not, and eventually, this was the wedge that would divide their relationship as Elliot began to spend more and more time at the mechanic shop the older he got.
Elliot was constantly giving his mother heart attacks. If he wasn't making huge jumps on a dirt bike, he was test driving cars with his father before they were returned to their owners good as new. This - in turn - led to many fights between his parents about the way Elliot was being "allowed" to put himself into such danger. Thanks to his mother's constant nagging on the matter, his father eventually agreed that Elliot wouldn't be allowed to work in the shop until he was 16.
This caused Elliot to turn to different means of adrenaline rushes and adventure. His dirt bike stunts became more intense and he developed a love for face-paced horse back riding. He even began hanging around the "wrong crowd," breaking into places and sometimes stealing things, though this was ended at the age of 12 when he was arrested. He and a group of friends had broken into a local gym to use their basketball court at 3 A.M. In the process, they broke a window and knocked over a trophy case. When breaking the window it triggered a silent alarm and the police found the six kids in the basketball gym.
Elliot was grounded for six weeks, though he was lucky to get off with a warning. Since he was only allowed to go to school and sit at home, it gave him time to mend his bond with his sister. They grew close over the next six weeks and after being ungrounded, he spent a lot of time riding horses with her. It now seemed to be the only thing that kept him out of trouble. Once his parents realized that the time spent riding with his sister was doing him some good, they moved to Kentucky and enrolled them into a local school - and after almost four months of saving - found a place for them to take riding lessons.
After two years of no reckless stunts, his parents felt they could trust him again. Now 14, he was finally allowed to ride his dirt bike again and go back to work with his father, though he didn't let it interefere with the bond between him and his sister. However, he found himself dreading going to the mechanic shop. He was only allowed to work on engines and test driving had been the only part he'd truly enjoyed.
However, the time with his dirtbike was short lived. After finding a new group of friends - all of whom loved dirtbike riding and skateboarding - he went to a track to really test out his skills. Before his first lap was over, Elliot had wrecked, though no one knows how it happened. A large piece of broken plastic ripped his left calf and hip open and the dirtbike landing on him broke two ribs.
After Eli spent his 15th birthday in a lengthy recovery, and was all caught up in school, the family took a vacation to their hometown. There, Elliot attended a party and ended up drunk. The night ended with him no longer being a virgin. Two months later, the girl was calling to say she was pregnant, but he never told the girl that he lived in Kentucky. He never tried to get into contact with the mother of his child again and never told anyone about it. Instead, he played it off as if it had never happened.
When Elliot discovered Blue Ridge, he insisted on being pulled from his riding lessons and public school and applying for the academy. After a week of consideration, his parents agreed. When he was accepted to start this year as a junior, his parents kept to their word and pulled him from riding lessons so they could buy him a horse instead. His sister also applied to begin her freshman year, but there's so far been no word on her acceptance or lack of.
We found love in a hopeless place
Pet Name>> Caspian
Registered Name>> N/A
Age>> 4
Gender>> Neutered male
Species>> Feline
Breed>> Domestic Mediumhair
Registry>> N/A
Personality>> Caspian is your average cat. Pet me when I want, feed me when I want, and don't disturb me when I'm napping in the sunshine. He isn't a very active cat, and it's hard to keep his weight under control. Not much bothers this little feline, but he make sure to let people know when he's unhappy. Usually a quick bite or scratch followed by a very meacing hiss is enough to get the message across.
He's a shy cat that doesn't take warmly to strangers. Typically, he'll hide under the bed for hours before finally creeping out to investiage a stranger , which means most people don't get to meet the famous Caspian.
History>> Caspian was born to his mother's cat in their garage. Their father had been a stray cat whose appearance was unknown, while their mother had been a brilliant orange. Caspian took a lot after his mother, though he's grown much, much bigger than her in size.
For a time, the plan was to get rid of all of the kittens, but their mother let each child take a pick from the litter. Caspian was the only orange kitten among the litter of four that survived, so he was Elliot's choice. Naming him after a character Elliot read about in a book, the cat has been with him ever since.
