Blue Ridge is a fictional town located deep in the heart of Kentucky. It is home to one of the most well known equestrian academies in the United States. Students and staff from all over the world join the academy for what it has to offer. Do you have what it takes to join us and learn from the Academy?

After she'd dismissed her first chemistry class, Ráhel stayed in the same classroom. She walked among the tables, collecting the baggies which the students had put back together, although she deposited these back on her desk. She'd prepared enough for both classes to have fresh ones, so that she didn't have the headache of worrying that all of the cubes had come back together. She picked up her thermos again and took it up front with her, back to the table where she'd left the box of cubes, and got ready to start the whole process again. The whiteboard had been wiped clean again, of all but the date, and she was ready to repeat the lesson. At least it was only twice, and then she'd have to turn her attention to physics and geography.
After taking a sip, she set her thermos down on the rectangular table in the front of the room. As the students started to come in, she greeted them, then asked them to pair up, two per trapezoidal table, for the activity that they would start class with. This activity had seemed to go well in the other class, but even if it hadn't, she'd still be doing it here. It might have been a little bit frustrating for the students at first, but they had all figured it out in the end - And she could always refer back to this class in the future lessons about thermodynamics.

Cara adjusted the canvas messenger bag on her shoulder, mentally going through everything she had put in there that morning and was sure that she hadn't forgotten anything. The contents even included two bottles of sports-water and bags of mixed fruit and nuts if she needed to snack on anything between classes. Her mouth set in a firm line before she inhaled a deep breath, relaxing as she exhaled and entered the chemistry classroom.
"Ma'am." She replied to the greeting with a courteous bow of her head and she made her way over to one of the tables. She didn't want to think about who might choose the seat next to her as she unbuckled her bag and took out the things she needed: zipped binder, pencil tin, glasses case. She then set her half of the desk up just the way she liked it, a habitual ritual that just made things easier for her. She placed her glasses on and rather than leaving the case on her desk, as she had done in the past, she dropped it back into her bag, which was tucked under her chair so that it wouldn't create a hazard for anyone moving around the desk.
Opening the binder, she dated the top of the first page with her black pen, before that was replaced at the top centre of her space and she picked the blue pen up, ready to begin taking notes when the class got started.

Sina groaned as she zipped closed her backpack, with the notebooks she’d need for that morning, “Why is it the start of classes already?” The summer hadn’t really been that short, but just… She didn’t want to go back to sitting in classrooms for the whole morning again! And even that was better than other schools – So perhaps she shouldn’t complain too much. At least she got to ride in the afternoons. Picking up her dog’s freshly-laundered pack, Sina turned around, “Come here, Der.” She slipped the pack over the dog’s head and buckled it, then looped the head halter around Derecho’s nose and clipped it behind his ears.
After she’d made sure that the leash and safety strap were both clipped to the right places, Sina grabbed her messenger bag and left the room, locking the door behind her. They made their way to the classroom building and started their day, going through the first class and then coming to Chemistry. Sina smiled at the teacher, who had been new last year, but now seemed familiar, and then glanced around the classroom, spotting only Cara already present. Guessing that Cara might be more comfortable if she didn’t pair up with the petite girl, Sina found herself an unoccupied table, where she set up and pulled out a notebook, ready to see what this class would be like.
