Seth was full of pent-up energy, he could feel it fizzing through his entire body with a need to use it. He walked out of the House and looked round, trying to decide what he wanted to do. He could go for a ride, but with the way he was feeling, he might just put a school horse at risk, and even he wasn't fool enough to bank his entire savings on the fact he might come out of that unscathed.
Heading straight past the barns, he made his way to the Green Hill trails. It didn't take him long to jog to the Meadow, filling his pockets with small pebbles along the way, and once there he looked around, his eyes sparkling as he looked at the trees. Spotting one with lowish branches, he took a running start and jumping up, he pushed his foot off the trunk and stretched to grab the lowest branch. It took a couple of goes, but he finally got hold of it and swung onto a higher, and sturdier branch and he sat down, surveying the area below him.""

Jennifer left her office, door locked behind her, and made her way to the Brown Ribbon Apartments to collect Jazz. He had been restless recently, and until she had time to make sure he remembered how to be a polite office dog, she wasn't going to bring him with her again.
She leashed the large dog, then left the buildings. They made their way quickly through the campus, then, when they reached the trails, she unclipped the leash again with an, "Okay." The dog trotted off, tail slightly higher than normal, nose to the ground, and Jen followed, looping the leash around one shoulder and clipping it to itself.

Adjusting the way he was sitting, and pulled a handful of pebbles from his pocket. After looking down, and around to make sure that he was alone, and not likely to spook any horses approaching. Bouncing a pebble in his hand, he threw it so that the stone rebounded off the next tree along and then started throwing the pebbles down into the stream, though more missed than reached, so he went back to throwing them at the other trees, now lost in his own little world. The stones were small enough that they wouldn't hurt anyone as they fell to the ground. ""

Jennifer walked along, enjoying the day, although she didn't really pay attention to much around her. Jazz, however, was different. Some small sound had caught his attention, and he bounded forward, his ears pricked and his tail up. As he sniffed at something Jennifer couldn't see, she turned her attention back to the trail.
But a flash of something unnatural in the trees made her look back, and she raised an eyebrow as she spotted a boy in the tree. He was tossing something, and it must have been that that had caught Jazz's interest. He wasn't throwing them at the dog, though, so she wasn't worried. She could let the boy have his fun.

Seth had just thrown another pebble when movement caught his attention and he dropped his head when he saw a dog and his attention looked around for an owner and he spotted the principal. He lifted a hand in greeting, the naked tree made it hard for him to exactly hide. "Hey Ms Hart!" He greeted with a smile. "They're pebbles sorry, pup, not gummi bears today." He gave a grin, as the last thing he'd been throwing while sitting in a tree had been gummi bears, though that time he'd been throwing them at someone, though he did stop throwing the stones for now, as he had a feeling they would probably cause a sting if they did hit an animal. "Uh... nice day for a walk..?"

Jennifer smiled at the boy, walking closer until she could make out a face, "Hello Seth." She made an effort to keep up with all of the students who were at the school, although some were easier than others to remember. As he identified what he'd been throwing, Jen smiled, "Probably for the better. Someone's already been slipping him extras somehow when my back is turned." She smiled fondly at the dog, who was now on a slight diet to help with that concern.
At his comment about the day, the principal inclined her head, "It is, although I didn't mean to interrupt your..." She cast about for a word, but decided 'fun' might come out too sarcastically, "day off." She couldn't imagine sitting in trees as being an enjoyable pastime, but hey. It wasn't like he was skipping class to come out here, "How are classes going?" Maybe not the best topic, but after some friendly conversation she could excuse herself and continue her walk.

Seth beamed down at the woman, though his grin vanished at the news of someone slipping the dog treats, and he frowned. "You can rest assured that that wasn't me." He told her.
He grinned again at her next words. "No interruption at all, though I return the apology as it seems I have disrupted your walk." He said, his grin growing. An eyebrow popped up at the mention of classes and he shrugged. "Can't complain." He told her. "The teachers are good, work borders on being difficult, but nothing I can't handle." He gave a wolfish grin. "And I know to ask for help should I need it. And the chance to escape the world via the trails is just the icing on the cake."

Jennifer smiled at the boy, "I'm sure. You haven't been called to my office that much." She chuckled, "I have my suspects. He's very good at the starving-dog look, though, so I can't blame them for falling victim."
She shrugged at the apology, and smiled as the boy gave a good (probably carefully worded) response. "Sounds like you have it all figured out." She glanced at the dog, gesturing along the trail to send him moving again, and returned her gaze to the boy, "Well, we'll leave you to escaping the world. Have a nice rest of your day."

He flashed a grin, he tried his best to stay out of the principal's office so that his father would have no reason to have him removed from the school, and go through with his threat of a military academy. Sure, the boy wanted to sign up for the armed forces at some point, he just wanted that to be his choice. "I think most animals, horses included, are really good at making people think that their owners are starving them." He commented with a chuckle.
He grinned and bowed his head. "Enjoy the rest of your walk." He said. "I think you can guarantee that you won't encounter anymore people hiding in trees." He had yet to find another person on campus who was as much of a monkey as him.
