Face Claim>> India Eisley
Personality>> Perhaps understandably given her history, Lily is almost painfully shy. For the majority of her life, she has chosen to avoid people wherever possible and instead throw herself into her music and reading. Lately, however, she has been growing more confident and beginning to spend more time socialising and simply being around people. Lily is quite studious and doesn't do well with most sports, but riding is, of course, the exception to the rule. She finds solace in being around animals and particularly horses, which has led her to devote a lot of time to it. Lily mistrusts strangers initially and takes a while to come around to trusting them, but once she has, she is a loyal and reliable friend- so long as no one betrays her trust.
Likes>> Chocolate, drama, animals, music, making friends
Dislikes>> Bullies, reptiles, pop music, rain, onions
Fears>> Being excluded, upsetting family
Hopes>> To own her own horse, to be accepted
Secrets>> Her father is in prison for fraud.
Appearance>> Lily has long dark hair which falls below her shoulders and is seldom tied up.She has a pointed chin and very pale skin, which is a result of her mother's Scandinavian heritage. People find her eye colour difficult to define; guesses vary between grey, blue and green. Personally, she thinks that they're grey. Lily likes to wear skirts and dresses wherever possible, but in the winter she can usually be found wearing jeans and a sweatshirt; usually with some kind of quote printed on it. She is quite tall at 5'4", and has a slim build. Her fingers are quite long and slim, whereas the rest of her hand is of a more average size.
Markings>> Scarring down back, pierced ears
Medical History>> Normal scrapes and bumps; frequent injuries caused by harassment and bullying; counselling for gender identity issues; hormone therapy
Full History>> Lily was born as Jack Peter Clarke to an American father and a Scandinavian mother. However, as Jack grew up it became increasingly apparent that there was something about him which was not quite as his loving parents might have expected. For the first few years, it went unnoticed, and it was only once Jack began to attend elementary school that anything was noticed. Teachers remarked that he preferred to play with the girls rather than the boys, that some of his mannerisms were rather feminine, that he was, as one teacher put it, 'not one of the lads'. At first, this was attributed to his not having had a great deal of male influence, since his father had seen relatively little of him while he was growing up, and so no great concern was raised. As Jack grew older, however, these attributes of his behaviour became more and more pronounced. By the time that he was ten, unknown to his parents, he was trying on his mother's clothes (which were far too big) and two months before his eleventh birthday, he told his mother that he thought he was gender dysphoric. It was, to be honest, something of a relief to the woman, who hadn't known what to make of his behaviour, and a few weeks later, Jack had the first of many doctor's appointments on the way to becoming Lily. It wasn't easy to convince anyone of... anything, really, but the mother and child were determined, and eventually they had permission to start on hormone therapy. Three months later, Lily's father was arrested for fraud, and it was eventually discovered that he had been committing the crime to pay for the multitude of medical appointments. Lily blames herself for this entirely.
