Morgan had shipped Logic before, and she knew how this would play out. The trailer would arrive, the thoroughbred gelding would unload quietly and he would then refuse to enter the barn or a stall or any sort of enclosed space. It had happened every time before, and it was bound to happen again. Especially after a ride this long, Logic's only goal would be to stretch his legs. Morgan supposed once he arrived she could put the gelding on a lunge line, but really she just wanted him to have a real space to get his excitement out.
So here she was at the office. Her first choice was perhaps a round pen or something that he could race around in for a bit. If that wasn't an option she hoped to get him in a pasture as quickly as possible. She was vaguely nervous, but just about making a good impression. A lot of this organized barn stuff was very new to her and Morgan didn't want to come across as the idiot from the countryside.
Morgan peeked her head into the office area, hoping to find someone who looked like they were in charge. She's been told by the office guy that she was looking for a Ms. Robinson, but she had no idea who that was. Her hope was that the barn manager would just exude an air of confidence and authority and so it would be easy to find her.

Gwen looked up from her desk as there was movement at her door, and she smiled at the girl who looked in, "May I help you?" She set aside the notes she'd been making and focused on the girl - A new student, judging by the fact that Gwen hadn't seen her before.

Morgan nodded. This was the air of authority she'd been looking for. There was no way this woman wasn't Ms. Robinson.
"I'm Morgan Miles." she explained. "I'm new, and my horse is being shipped in soon. I don't know where you normally put the new incoming horses, but Logic isn't going to want to go into a stall. So I was wondering if there was a pen I could put him in, or if you know where he's going to go for pasturing."

Gwen nodded at the name - She remembered preparing that horse's plaque, and had put up preparing the stall for her barn hands closer to the horse's arrival. As the girl asked about a place to put the horse in, Gwen nodded, "Well, firstly, of course he's not going to want to go into a stall. You should hand walk him - You can just wander around campus, or some people walk out to the Green Hill Trails." She paused, thinking, "After that, once he's stretched out, you could turn him out in any of the pastures except for Pasture 5, which is for mares only - There is a sign on the gate, so you don't have to remember the number." She considered, "Did you get a map when you checked in? That'll show you the pastures."

"Right." Morgan said. Well, there went her trying to look like she knew what she was doing. Every time she'd hauled Logic somewhere, he'd usually been put directly into the pasture or been tied to the trailer.
"Any pasture but 5." she repeated. Morgan dug in her pocket and retrieved the somewhat crumpled map. She lay it out and smoothed the edges. The pastures were indeed all labeled, including pasture 5. She also found the Green Hill Trails, which seemed like a good option. Maybe Logic would like doing a little bit of exploring to start off.
"Thank you so much." she said to Ms. Robinson and paused. Might as well get any other information she could while she was still standing right here. "Do you allow stall guards to be put up if I'm out in the barn with the horse?" she asked.

Gwen nodded as the girl repeated the information back, affirming that she'd gotten it correct. At the girl's next question, Gwen nodded again, "We do, as long as it's responsibly hung. Most doors have attachment points already, but if you need a different height, come talk to me and we'll have maintenance do the modification." Her little ones had theirs up most of the time if she was around the barn - It let them see what was going on!

"Logic will definitely appreciate that. Thank you so much for the help!"
Distantly, she heard a rumble of tires against gravel - with any luck that would be her horse arriving. Although it had only been about a day since she'd seen her dark gelding, Morgan already missed him.
