Personality>> Luka is a friendly sort of chap once you get to know him. He's what can be described as a nerd, preferring the company of his books, his dog, and his writing than that to people. Though withdrawn from society, he isn't shy, and will happily introduce himself, and be outgoing when he feels like it. He is always ready to quip or tease, especially in tense situations, which is something he chooses to avoid.
He is the happy-go-lucky kind, always relaxed about everything, and he just takes everything in his stride. He does have to work harder than most, but he has found that being in a normal school challenges him, and he never backs down from a challenge.

Appearance>> Luka is tall and stringy for his age, his features almost fox-like. He has light brown eyes, flecked with a slight green tinge to them. His hair is a light brown, or dirty blonde, whichever you prefer, and always appears to be shaggy, hardly ever neatly brushed. His clothing style is simple, preferring jeans and a t-shirt to anything fancy. He doesn't care about the brand names and will wear anything that is comfortable. That goes the same for his riding attire. Often he just chooses to go in jeans with trainers and ride bareback more than anything else.
He dislikes formal affairs, but doesn't oppose them, just going to them for heck of it, his 'formal' attire once more just as casual.

Medical History>> Bacterial meningitis when he was four, which lead to his loss of hearing.

Full History>> Luka wasn't born into the happiest of families. When he was a few months old, his mother, unable to care for him any longer, left him with her sister, who has taken over that mother role in his life. His aunt and his uncle have never really told him what happened to his father, but it is assumed that he has remarried and has other children to look after. His mother has never come back for him, and although he has never met her, he still hopes that one day he can.
Before his third birthday, they moved to Seattle, and lived on a small acreage an hour's drive from the main city. It was here where Luka had his first experience with horses, riding a little Shetland pony on the farm. Just after his fourth birthday, Luka fell ill. Very ill. He had contracted bacterial meningitis, and although he recovered, he lost his hearing. His aunt was determined that he would lead a normal life, and it didn't take long for her to sign up Luka, and the rest of the family,to start learning sign language and for Luka to lip read a few years later.
It became apparent, that although he became frustrated easily, the presence of an animal would calm him down significantly. Luka was seven when he received his first service dog, a Spaniel cross by the name of Harry. The pair instantly connected, and a year ago, Harry was put down after discovering cancer in him. It was then that Luka received Bruno, a Cocker Spaniel. Luka is attending BRRA for the first time after his Uncle was given a job in Kentucky.

Personality>> Although very active, Bruno is also very much a people's person, and goes where his person goes, even when not on duty. He loves cuddles and being the center of attention. He can be stranger shy, but doesn't become aggressive when faced with the unknown.
History>> As a puppy, Bruno was found in a local shelter, and was adopted almost immediately. It became clear that he was the helpful and loyal sort, his owners seeking assistance in training him as a service dog, and utilising his talents. He excelled in training and was matched with Luka when he was 3.
