Hunters
In a hunter class, the horse and rider will jump a course, and both horse and rider (but primarily the horse) will be judged on ability and form. The rider should guide the horse through the course as smoothly and effectively as possible, in good form. The round should be rhythmic and steady, and points will be deducted for refusals, knock downs, incorrect leads, adding or leaving out a stride, as well as other mistakes or bad behaviour.

Both horse and rider should be well turned out and wearing proper safety attire.
