Serenity returned Amy's smile, though her's was a little strained. "Morning." She replied. She arched her eyebrows as the energy around her suddenly became charged. It wasn't the feeling of a storm, more of discomfort, and the girl wondered if she put her hand out, would she be able to actually touch it. She gave a small giggle and shook her head, now that was crazy talk.
She turned her attention to the teacher as she began to speak. She listened as other student introduced themselves, firing a surprised glance at Cara. Who didn't read fiction books? And then rolled her eyes as her stupid brother introduce himself, if she had been sitting closer to him, she would have thrown something at him, or slapped him at the least. She shook her head when the boy sat down, though she refused to stand to introduce herself - mostly because she didn't think she would be able to. "Hi everyone. My name is Serenity Oliver - the sane one of the family. My favourite author is the late Robert Jordan and his series The Wheel of Time is awesome... well, what I've read of it so far anyway, it's just a pity he wasn't able to finish it himself. The Three Sisters Island trilogy by Nora Roberts is also really good too... Ok, maybe I don't have a favourite author and definitely not a single book by any one person."
She listened as the topic turned to the poem in front of them.
