Blue Ridge is a fictional town located deep in the heart of Kentucky. It is home to one of the most well known equestrian academies in the United States. Students and staff from all over the world join the academy for what it has to offer. Do you have what it takes to join us and learn from the Academy?

"Um... ok" Amber replied, although she hoped that she wouldn't have any questions. She didn't like asking for help because it made her feel helpless. Her mother had never minded helping her with things and her brother had always seemed to like helping her with things but, over the past several years, Amber had observed that he also liked making her dependent on him. He was dependent on her for some things too, but Amber didn't like it that way. She wanted to learn independence and she wanted him too as well.
Amber tried to push aside the thought of her brother, for the millionth time, as she preheated the oven. She measured out the butter and sugar into a bowl and started to mix it up. Unfortunately, this gave her time to think, so she looked down at what she was mixing and tried to focus on that. It didn't work very well and her mind kept on wondering, but eventually she managed to get it done. She measured out and added the sugar and mixed spice and started mixing them in. Her arm was getting tired so she switch to her left arm, but it was harder to mix with her left arm so she switched back shortly.
Megs worked at her own station, creating a double batch of the cookies herself - she'd take them to the staff room after class and allow the other faculty members to taste them to see that they thought. While the were baking, she walked around the room, seeing if anyone needed any help.
She'd had plans to also get the students to make pizza dough for another class, but had pushed that thought to the back burners, she'd find another recipe that didn't take as long to rise and could be made - from start to finish - in one class. "You have twenty minutes left." She told the students. "That should give you enough time to have them finished, cooled and presented nicely." She had vouchers for Tastee's for the winners, which she thought was a good incentive for the students to bring their creativity with them when they came to each class.
She walked back to her station and removed the cookies from the oven and began to get the chocolate ready for the sugar cookies. She had no intention of setting her up any fancier than putting them on a plate, one for the sugar cookies and one for the savoury, well if the sugar cookies made it as far as the staff room, the woman had a sweet tooth after all.

She had to give it to him, Chase could hold his own in the kitchen. Once the chocolate was melted, she poured it into a piping bag and then quickly piped it onto her pizza bases before she slipped the plate into the fridge.
Taking the glazed cherries from the pantry, she ran a sharp knife under the hot tap and began slicing the half a dozen of the cherries until she was sure she had enough "tomatoes" for her pizzas.
Taking the cookies from the fridge, she picked up the box of icing writers, and used the yellow one to create the blobs of cheese, which she used to hold the "tomatoes" in place and then she used the green tube to create the capsicum. She then set the plate back into the fridge to let all of the icing set.
Quickly filling the sink with hot water, she washed the dishes, leaving Chase to tend to his own cookies. After drying and putting the dishes away, she bounced around the kitchen as she thought of how to display the cookies. She suddenly snapped her fingers and began looking through all of the drawers until she found what she was looking for, some cardboard to create a couple of pizza boxes. If they had more time, she'd look for a box she could cut down, but what she had in front of her was all that was available. Grabbing a pencil from her bag, she drew lines on the card and then began to snip around until she had the shapes she needed and then folded the card until she had two make-shift pizza boxes in front of her. "Here!" She said thrusting one at Chase before she took her cookies out of the fridge and placed three of the six into her pizza box and took three of the savoury ones from Chase, which also went into her box.
She then placed the box on the bench, ready for Ms Sims to come and have a look.

Cara inspected her cookies as they came out of the oven, crinkling her nose as the smells of the savoury cookies assaulted her olfaction.
With her "cookies" done and dusted, she set about doing the dishes, floating around the small kitchen as she gathered the dirty dishes, filled the sink with hot water, added the bubbles and then stuck her hands in the water. To others the water would probably be too hot, but she didn't notice temperatures any more so she didn't care.
Once the dishes were done, she thought about how to present the cookies, in a way to show them off and to be able to take them away when class ended. She looked up as the teacher spoke and then went back to looking around their station to see what she could do.
Looking in the pantry, she found something that looked like containers one would bring home take away food in, useable, but not very inventive. She looked through the drawers until she found some paper, sturdy enough so that it wouldn't tear easily, yet thin enough that she could easily fold it and put it on the bench. She then took a bread and butter knife from the cutlery draw and set to work creating a rectangle origami tray. When it was ready, she set half of her cookies onto the tray and half of the sugar cookies and placed the tray on the bench for the teacher to inspect at the end of class.
The “cookies” were done and so Chase took them out and set them on the oven top. He knew from the past that you should let pastries sit and cool a little before trying to take them off the pan. He set the cooling rack out and waited a few minutes. With a spatula he took them off and put all six on the rack.
Before he knew it Courtney was thrusting a box towards him and she was taking half of his cookies. He stood there with his lips pressed into a line of annoyance. Although once he figured out what she was doing, he was quiet and went to work placeing the last three of his cookies and the last three of Courtney’s cookies in the other box. He sat the second box next to Courtney’s and went to the sink.
He went to work with his dishes as he filled the sink back up with hot water and soap. He didn’t mind at all that he washed dishes when he lived with his parents. Though his family was wealthy they didn’t have maids and so the children were to take on that job, most of the time it was Chase to do it.
