Once she was done with Fern and warming her up Danny moved towards the middle of the arena as Mr. Ropata said to do. Danny hadn’t done this exercise with poles, but she had done it many a times with cones, which she thought that there was little to no difference.
As the teams were announced Danielle was happy with them and she listened to Reni as she spoke. She and Cara were the only two riders on her team that she knew, and then of course she knew Katja as they were housemates. Danny nodded and moved towards the other side, it didn’t bother her one bit that she was the last rider.
Mr. Ropata said go and Reni was on her way through the poles towards herself and Cara. The baton was successfully passed between the two girls and from what she saw the pass was also successful between Cara and Christophe. The boy was coming back towards her and Danny got ready her hand outspread ready for the baton to get there.
Once it did she grabbed towards the bottom of it and hoped that Christophe would let go. Once he did Danielle asked for Fern to go right to the canter, being the skilled rider that she was Danny and Fern wove through the cones like it was no one’s business and came to the other side. She paid no attention at all to what the other team was doing and so she didn’t know who won.
