Jesse patted Turk's strong neck as he clipped the coral lead rope to the gelding's matching halter. The Marwari let out a little snort and whinny towards the contact, but soon calmed down yet kept his ears perked. The twenty five year old clucked the horse forward, out of the crosstie posts, and once the gelding was out a few paces was when he actually got a full look at the horse's appearance. There was a chunk of dirt here and there on the gelding's legs and dust in the dark bay's coat, overall it was a scenario where just a brush wouldn't fully clean off after their trail ride this morning.
As they arrived to their destination, Jesse took a glance around at the many racks that were unoccupied. The clacking of Turk's hooves on the way to an open wash rack was the only thing to be heard in the building. He tied down the gelding and had to send a few sympathetic words to the animal as he got a bit frisky towards the action. "It's alright, Turk. We're just going to get you all nicely cleaned up." He cooed as he made sure the horse was secured so it wouldn't think about getting any ideas before walking over to get a grooming bucket.
Once he returned, noticing how the gelding didn't seem to move from his position since he left, he patted the gelding's shoulder in reassurance to relax. Jesse turned on the water and waited for it to be a cool lukewarm temperature before filling up the wash bucket and mixing it with a shampoo for Turk's wash. He set aside the soapy water and got started on hosing the horse down starting from the gelding's feet, upwards. As he was focused on giving Turk a nice wash, he never realized another pair of hooves and footsteps entering the area.
