Blue Ridge is a fictional town located deep in the heart of Kentucky. It is home to one of the most well known equestrian academies in the United States. Students and staff from all over the world join the academy for what it has to offer. Do you have what it takes to join us and learn from the Academy?

Forrest was like a kid on Christmas morning as he and his mom pulled into Blue Ridge Riding Academy. He hadn’t felt so excited in a long time. Finally, he would be able to formally study horses and formally take lessons, rather than the on-and-off lessons teach yourself system that he’d grown accustomed to. Looking at the size of the fields and the quality of the barns in the distance, he was sure that if Autumn wasn’t just as excited as he was about coming to Blue Ridge, she would be. As if she read his mind, Autumn stomped on the trailer floor, slightly rattling the old Ford pickup truck Forrest’s mom was driving.
After parking the truck and trailer and making sure Autumn was faring okay after the long drive from Connecticut, Forrest and his mom headed in to the main office. Though he had his mom’s arm around him, Forrest couldn’t help but miss having his father and his little sister with him too – he felt close to his family, after all – but he understood that the trip would be too taxing on his sister Holly, and it made sense for Forrest’s dad to stay home with her.
Skipping the last short distance to the front desk, Forrest greeted the woman in the office with a boisterous, ”Hiya!” He waited for his mom to catch up before requesting his room number and key, and information on where to bring Autumn, now impatiently waiting in the trailer.
