Personality>> Rose is a very sweet girl, who wouldn’t consider hurting a fly, as some would say. She’s sort of timid, though she definitely comes out to her friends with a strong personality once she gets to know them. Rose has never been hurt by anyone, and is rather innocent as far as teenagers go, having lived a sheltered life before. It’s hard to say what will happen now that she’s living away from her home. She’s very attached to her mares and loves competing with her in hunter/jumper events. Rose is very into metaphors and grand gestures, trying to make the most of her life, though one would hope that she doesn’t try too hard and muss something up.
Being extremely shy, Rose has a difficult time making friends, but since she's friendly to anyone anyways, she does not make enemies either. Unfortunately, Rose is also rather easy to be manipulated, and she tries her best to make people happy, even if it isn't what's best for her. Rose is the epitome of a hunter/jumper princess, and some see her as uptight because of this, but she really isn't nasty like some others. She does have the expensive horses and breeches, but she knows that those alone will not win her ribbons. Despite her being timid, Rose is competitive and very driven, and when it comes to showing, she does everything she can to win. Focused on both her riding and schoolwork, Rose can be described as a workaholic due to her perfectionist ways.

Appearance>> Rose is rather unusual looking. The first thing one would notice is her hair, which is a beautiful white blonde. It’s wavy and incredibly soft, as well as very long. Her skin is very pale; almost porcelain looking. Rose does, in fact, look a bit like a doll. She is very short for her age, but very skinny as well. Her eyes are a smoky gray with a bit of blue, and they’re made to look enormous, framed by her dark lashes. She dresses very classically with some vintage woven in as well, and is known to wear dresses on the most casual of days. She usually leaves her hair down, with various accessories, but will pull it into a bun once in a while. She usually wears minimal makeup but when she dresses up she uses it, contrasting red lipstick with her pale skin. Overall, Rose is very beautiful, and she’s aware of it though is not known to brag about it.

Medical History>> Rose suffers from mild insomnia and anorexia, though she has realized that she has to stop before she ruins her life, and is working hard to change herself without having to go to a doctor. She has overcome her anorexia, though she is constantly fighting against falling back into her habits.

Full History>> Rose was born in the Netherlands, her father having grown up there. Her mother was an eventing competitor for the United States and competed in Europe rather often. She met Peter Hoff in a Dutch café the morning before her dressage phase. They fell in love, got married, and Rose was born. They moved back to the United States to accommodate for her mother’s career. She retired after a few years, due to an injury and became clinically depressed. She faded from Rose’s life and eventually fled back to the Netherlands, leaving little other evidence of where they could find her. Rose and her father were devastated, though inexplicably, her mother had left them a sizable fortune, presumable from her competition days. Peter Hoff is an author of poetry and young adult novels. Rose learned to ride when she learned to walk as a result of her mother’s career. She has always been a gifted rider, and plans to continue in her mother’s footsteps (partially at least). Rose focuses in the hunter and jumper disciplines.

Personality>> Tulip is an adorable little doe, who is small for her breed. She’s quiet and affectionate, though she can have quite a little attitude when she’s annoyed. Her ears are longer than most dwarves which makes her look to be another breed. She spends most of her day snuggled up on Rose’s bed, and her favorite snack is apples. She’s known to nip at people who are in her way, but other than that she’s very sweet.
History>> Rose got Tulip as a going away present from her dad when she left for Blue Ridge Academy. Tulip keeps Rose company when she’s studying, and basically whenever she’s in her room. Rose had wanted a bunny for a while, but her father is allergic to the fur. Rose was a bit shocked to find that he was giving her a bunny, but thrilled none the less. Tulip is very neat, so she usually lets her run about her room, though she spends nights in her cage.
