Blue Ridge is a fictional town located deep in the heart of Kentucky. It is home to one of the most well known equestrian academies in the United States. Students and staff from all over the world join the academy for what it has to offer. Do you have what it takes to join us and learn from the Academy?

Anna placed her tote bag filled with notebooks on a table situated outside of the coffeeshop in downtown Blue Ridge. She couldn't stand the thought of being stopped up in the school for much longer, but with finals approaching, she needed to keep her grades in tip top shape to make for an impressive GPA. The Ivy League did not care if it was too sunny for studying, so Anna would take her studying outside.
Stepping inside the shop, she waited briefly in line to get to the counter before ordering her simply drink - nothing fancy, just a hazelnut coffee with cream - and a cinnamon twist. Having received her order, she returned to her table and began to set up for what would hopefully be a productive couple of hours. Arranging her notebooks in piles on her left, her laptop open before her, and her food on her right, she set to work, drawing up a list of her assignment and upcoming assessments before beginning to work on them.
The setting was not the quietest in the work, but Anna was able to focus and zone in on her work fairly easily, since none of the happenings around her were of any particular interest to her.

Tommy grinned from ear to ear as he left Portable Magic, the name of the book shop made him chuckle every time he thought about it, or heard it mentioned by the other students. He had finally come to see what the store was all about and was ecstatic when he found an entire section in the back corner of the store just on New Age books. He could have remained there until the store closed, but he had a mare who needed to be ridden, and the green book clutched in his hand was like gold to him.
He was walking past the outdoor seating for the coffee shop and recoginised a girl from the Academy. She looked busy as she was working through the books sitting on the table, along with her laptop, but the boy's extrovert-personality caused a need to be around people.
He cleared his throat to hopefully catch the girl's attention. "Hi. Do you mind if I join you?" It wasn't that he exactly wanted to sit and talk, but he could sit and keep her company while he read through his new book. Although, he wouldn't be offended if she said she was busy and would rather be left alone.

Treat the earth well:
it was not given to you by your parents,
it was loaned to you by your children.
We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors,
we borrow it from our Children.
