Turn away 'cause I need you more
Personality>> Meg is incredibly social and outgoing. She loves trying new things and exploring, and has been reminded more than once by her mother that curiosity killed the cat. She has been known to be a bit naive, which means that sometimes her adventurous spirit gets her into trouble sometimes. She can also be a bit gullible, which means that she actually believes in ghosts and other things that probably aren't real. She is an incredibly talented dancer, and had hopes to become a prima ballerina someday. Her love of dance hasn't diminished, but she is now enthusiastically pursuing riding and vaulting as well as learning about the new country she's calling home. She loves animals of all sorts, especially cats and horses. Overall, she just likes to have fun and enjoy life, and lives by the phrase 'the more the merrier'.
Likes>> Animals, Ballet, Acting, Paris, Chocolate, Meeting new people, Reading, Rollercoasters, Having fun
Dislikes>> Bad French accents, Bullies, Anything related to Zombies, Vampires, or Werewolves, American food, Waking up before the sun rises
Fears>> Though she enjoys telling ghost stories she is actually rather afraid of encountering a ghost for real, and that she will not be able to return to France someday
Hopes>> To make lots of new friends, and to be able to dance onstage again
Secrets>> She and her mother helped a longtime friend escape police custody after he committed several counts of arson. The friend paid them for helping him, and they used the money to leave France in fear of being caught and getting in serious trouble. The friend came to America with them, and is living with Meg's mother attempting to help them settle in the new country. Meg doesn't believe he's a bad man, but he made some bad choices.
It’s the way I’m feeling I just can’t deny
Appearance>> Meg is rather petite, with dark eyes and golden hair. She is rather short for a ballet dancer, at 5'3", and while small she is still a little curvier than most dancers. When not riding, she dresses very fashionably, all of her clothes coming from Paris. She enjoys wearing dresses the most, but when working with horses unfortunately doesn't have much opportunity to wear them. She also likes to wear her hair down most of the time, only putting it up for riding and dancing and only out of necessity. Her ears are pierced, and she wears earrings all the time, wearing simple studs when riding and then wearing whatever she wants otherwise.
Markings>> Pierced ears
But I’ve gotta let it go
Medical History>> A sprained ankle, which healed up just fine.
Criminal History>> She herself hasn't committed any crimes
Full History>> Meg was born and raised in Honfleur, France. Growing up in a little town, Meg was very bright and curious and enjoyed trying new things. She liked playing dress up on rainy days and playing outside in the park or even in the streets with other children when it was a nice day outside. She was a little clumsy, and was known to trip on the uneven cobblestone streets when out playing. Scrapes and bruises never seemed to slow her down though. Some of her favorite activities in town were watching the boats come in and out, riding the carousel, and visiting the art galleries in the summers. During tourist season, Meg liked watching and interacting with the tourists that flooded the town, she picked up some of her first english that way. She met many kind people, but it's kinda a wonder she didn't actually get kidnapped. She also learned to ride a bit, and loved helping out with horses in the countryside just outside the town. When she was about 6 years old, she and her Mother moved to Paris where Meg began her ballet training with hopes of joining the Corps de Ballet at the Paris Opera House someday.
Her father was not in the picture, Meg never knew him and her mother doesn't talk about him. The father figure in her life instead was a young man named Erik whom had known Meg since she was born. While he was not the most fatherly person in the world, he still watched out for her and usually ended up being the one to save her when she got in trouble. He also helped out her mother where he could, making sure Meg had the best of everything. Meg always thought he was a good man and incredibly intelligent, but he made poor decisions sometimes. Her mother had taken him in when he was thrown out of his home, and he constantly made sure to repay her kindness.
Meg, her mother, and Erik lived in Paris with no problems. Meg's curiosity and adventurous spirit sometimes got her into trouble but Erik always managed to pull her out of it. She did well in school, and even better in ballet class. She performed countless times in lead roles as well as being a valued member of the corps. She also continued to ride when she could, though the opportunity was rare in the big city. Things changed when Erik got into a bad deal with a drug cartel, and was hired to burn down some buildings in the city. Luckily no one was hurt, and the group did pay him well for the job, but he became a wanted criminal. Meg's mother and Erik decided the best thing to do would be to leave the country before the police discovered it was him, so they picked up everything and fled to America. Meg was sad to leave France, but excited to go to America. However the fear of being caught for Erik's crime sometimes gives her nightmares, and she hopes that things will be better someday.
We found love in a hopeless place
Pet Name>> Ayesha
Registered Name>> N/A
Age>> 10 weeks old
Gender>> Female
Species>> Feline
Breed>> Siamese
Registry>> N/A
Personality>> Ayesha is very affectionate and playful, as all little kittens should be. She enjoys curling up on your lap to take naps, however she seems to prefer to own bed at night. While she isn't perfectly litter trained, she seems to have pretty much figured it out by now. She is still getting used to the little bell on her collar, and gets a little surprised by it still when she gets up to move and it rings. She is not terribly destructive, but she does enjoy digging her claws into the bedpost.
History>> Meg was disappointed that she would be unable to bring her beloved poodle, Sasha, to school with her. So Erik went out and got her a little Siamese kitten as a going away present. Meg felt better about leaving Sasha with her mother and Erik after that, and happily went out and got her kitten a litterbox, a collar, and the fluffiest bed she could find, as well as lots of toys to keep her kitten occupied while she was away in class.
