Both cheerleading and dance kept the young redhead on her toes, but sometimes she didn’t feel as though the pushed her enough. If gymnastics was an option that would be her go to but she didn’t feel like she would be competitive enough to take up the sport. Getting dressed in to her running attire, Caroline was set on running three miles, she wasn’t timing herself or anything of the sort, she just wanted to run.
Slipping a jacket on Caroline moved swiftly to the gym. Making her way to the indoor track she shed her jacket and tied her hair back into a high ponytail. She began her warm-ups; the last thing she needed was to not be able to practice for cheer because of a pulled muscle. She had one rule that she would run a lap to warm up her muscles; she remembered one thing from gym class, never stretch an un-warmed muscle.
Once that was done the stretching commenced, she stretched for three minutes, or one song as she liked to time it out. After she was done with stretching she clicked on her playlist she made specifically for running. It consisted of hard rock and songs that your heart pump harder just listening to them, cranking the volume almost all the way up she set off running.
