Blue Ridge is a fictional town located deep in the heart of Kentucky. It is home to one of the most well known equestrian academies in the United States. Students and staff from all over the world join the academy for what it has to offer. Do you have what it takes to join us and learn from the Academy?

Tote bag filled with her latest purchases from Portable Magic, Anna strode down the sidewalk, enjoying the lovely weather. She'd missed the warm weather, though now that summer had descended upon Blue Ridge, she did get a little too warm towards the middle of the day. Opening the door of Cormoor Coffee, she got in line, studying the pastries in the case. She already knew what she'd get to drink, but the ever-changing baked good selection kept her on her toes.
When it was her turn to order, she asked for her usual earl grey tea with an almond croissant. Upon receiving her beverage and snack, she waited a few minutes by the little bar, steeping her tea, and throwing out the bag when she was done. Satisfied, she left the confines of the coffee shop once more, but didn't wander far, finding a seat at one of the little tables outside the shop. Placing her tea, pastry, and tote on the table, she fished around in the bag to fin her newest read - Wuthering Heights. She'd found an absolutely lovely edition that she was thrilled about.
Tucking up her legs in front of her and leaning the book on them, Anna lost herself in the pages, losing track of the people buzzing around her.

Jen smiled at the barista as she was handed her coffee, large, iced, just as she'd asked for. After adding a small splash of creamer to it, she put the lid back onto her cup, careful to make sure that it was secured properly. For all of her 'free time' now that the classes were over, spending time at the coffee shop was a luxury she could not yet take. Perhaps later in the summer, when the early arrivals had petered out and the ones arriving just in time for the school year had yet to start.
As she walked out of the coffee shop, intending to stop by the cinema to inquire about hosting another event there. However, as she saw a girl that she recognized as being a student sitting at one of the tables, she couldn't help but push her plans back slightly. Students were why she had gotten into this work, after all. Now she rarely got to see them, let alone talk to them, but she could at least chat while she had the chance.
Pausing at the edge of the table, in case her company wasn't welcome, Jennifer looked down, trying to remember the girl's name. She looked familiar, from at least a photo. Anna? That was it. "Anna, right?" She smiled, "Enjoying the start to your summer break?"
