Personality>> Scout is a pretty easy going horse, and responds well to his owner. He is very much a one person horse, however. The gelding is excited around other horses and enjoys being around them. He is a very happy, smart horse. During competitions, Scout is very determined to do the best he can, but he also feeds off of Sebastian's energy. If Sebastian is upset, it is quickly known that Scout is as well. The gelding is very friendly and eager to please. He does have a fear of dogs, however. More of an intense hatred, and will spook at the sound/sight of any dog big or small.

Basic History>> Scout was born and raised on a breeder's farm owned by Sebastian's parents' friends. He was registered within six months of birth with the Jockey Club, though the breeders never had any intention of racing him. His parents were OTTB however. Scout was raised on the breeder farm and trained in the English discipline. When he was 3, Sebastian's parents bought him from their friends to give to their son. Scout and Sebastian clicked almost instantly and they learned together as they grew up. At age 4, one of Sebastian's dogs got loose into the pasture where Scout was and chased the gelding around, scarring the horse for life. He still has a fear of dogs to this day. Sebastian has tried to break this fear, but hasn't had any successful attempts. Sebastian and Scout have been together since he was 3 and now the gelding is attending Blue Ridge with the boy.
