Personality>> Kuna is one of the biggest sucks around. He loves his ears scratched, and strangely, enjoys his tongue scratched too. He prefers to nap in his stall or out in the paddocks, and despite his heavy feathering, love to roll around in the grass when not sleeping. Kuna adores apples and carrots, and will gladly wake up if it means he gets one of his favorite things to eat. The big gelding loves to be brushed, and happily stands for hours on end while Lavina brushes him and makes him all handsome.
When it is time to get down to business, however, Kuna definitely is one to watch. He listens to his cues, does what is asked, and does it with 'oomph' and pomp fitting of his breed. He is definitely suited to the world of dressage, for he displays much finess when moving about the ring.
Not much scares Kuna, though he does seem to be more skittish around firecrackers and gunshots.

Basic History>> Before coming to Lavina, his history is pretty basic. Born to famous Gypsy Vanner sire and dam, Kuna was the pride of the stable. He was gelded, as he would not be for breeding, and began training at the age of 3. It was when Kuna was 4 that Lavina had acquired him through her former mentor.
Since living with Lavina, Kuna has learned advanced dressage moves, and learns more as time progresses. He's young, barely 8, and still has a ways to go. Now, he's content to stay at Blue Ridge and to do what Lavina asks of him. Mostly he is here for the green pastures and the treats his loving owner gives to him.
