ERIKALEXANDERKIGHTLINGER
<<Played by Warlord>>
Full Name>>Erik Alexander Kightlinger
Nicknames>>Erik, Boy (you'd better be Obediah)
Age>> 6-6-1999; 17
Staff or Student>> Student (Farrier Assistant)
House>> Green Ribbon House
Gender>> Male
Sexuality>> Heterosexual
Face Claim>> Kellan Lutz
Personality>> Erik has cultivated a happy, breezy, easy going attitude in life. He and his father have been in it alone for as long as he can remember, always on the move, so obsessing about things he can't change or are out of his reach never would have done him any good anyway. Always being new, Erik has figured out how to work around that problem by being aggressively friendly, insinuating, and all around easy to get along with. He draws the line at people getting physical with him but up until that point you're his friend whether you like it or not. This carries over to romantic interests. He never feels like he has much time so if he figures he likes a girl he tells 'em quick fast and in a hurry.
Likes>> Horses, whittling, his violin, working on the truck, rainy days
Dislikes>> Bullies, dogs, English riding clothes, riding helmets, spurs
Fears>> Losing his dad, leaving again
Hopes>> Start a horse business with his dad, buy a motorcycle
Secrets>> Has a mom button, an excellent and almost instant method of getting into a fight with him.
Appearance>> He's lived a very active existence, worked out along with his father, and never had the opportunity to grow lazy. He's fit, trim, and athletically muscular. He stands 6'0" and weighs in at 220lbs. His eyes are blue like his father but his hair is a very light brown owing to his mother being a natural blond. He's light skinned, due to both of his parents being of Scandinavian descent, but he doesn't sunburn easy so that's a blessing. He tends toward blue jeans, work boots or cowboy boots, t-shirts, and a jean jacket lined with a hooded sweatshirt (weather necessitating). When he has no plans to move from where he's at he'll lounge around in A-shirts and basketball shorts, idly petting his cat or practicing the violin. Over the years he's also acquired every kind of show wear (English, Western, etc.) that a boy might find himself in need of.
Markings>> Scar on his stomach from his infant Pyloric Stenosis surgery.
Medical History>> Pyloric Stenosis as an infant.
Criminal History>> None
Full History>> Erik's earliest memory is sitting on a porch with his father and watching the rain, a moment they've shared countless times since. He would like to think he remembers the flight to America from Britain but he's been on planes so many times since then he isn't certain. His father has long been working his way up the reputation latter in the equestrian business world and Erik has happily traveled along with him except for once or twice for a few months at a time when there were times and places that didn't have space for a child (times he spent at his Grandmother's house in North Carolina). Erik has picked up a wide variety of practical skills including vehicle mechanics, horsemanship, wrestling (he got enrolled in Combat Wrestling for a time at his Grandmother's place), and at his grandma's insistence he also learned to play the violin. He's dated (as much as a 16 year old could be expected to have), has a ton of friends he keeps in touch with through his cell phone, and looks forward to repeating the process. (sorry, he's a kid who's moved around a lot, there aren't a lot of life events outside of 'and then he moved again').
Over the years, Erik has been the recipient of a wide and varied equestrian education. From his mother and father he learned the finer points of English style riding and Western Pleasure, from the hoof up. From gaits to attire, handling to tack, he was carefully taught the proper methods, features, and functions of each (albeit often in an informal manner). Having two certified instructors in the family had it's benefits -and- headaches. Benefits being that he learned what he was doing right and proper, headaches being that he was occasionally forced to do the thing he disliked the most: dress up in a 'ridiculous outfit' and show a horse.
Pet Name>>
Registered Name>> Leon
Age>> 7
Gender>> male
Species>> Feline
Breed>> American Short-hair
Registry>> Nooooope
Personality>> Same as his master, patient and friendly. A total lay about because: cat. Likes to be in a lap during the day or between somebody's ankles come bed time. Is afraid to be outside, so stays in the room except for the rare foray into the ten feet or so just outside the door where he drops low, looks around in panic, and is overjoyed when somebody physically retrieves him. Allows Erik to boop his nose, merely purrs in self-defense.
History>> During one of Erik's long stays at his grandmother's she took him down to the local veterinarian's where they happened to be treating a litter of kittens. One of them toddled right up to the front of the case when he looked in, Erik and Leon becoming fast friends almost instantly. The cat has lived with Erik on and off ever since, as circumstances have allowed.
