Basic History>>Holly was born at a prestigious Western ranch where she was surrounded by other Quarter Horse foals. She was a little mishandled as a foal, but one of the top trainers in Kentucky fixed that with halter training classes. Holly was the top prospect and was trained in barrel racing, showmanship, reining and pole bending. Her life was great, she went to a show every weekend and usually came home with bucketloads of ribbons for her various riders and trainers. This all came crashing down about a year ago. The farm she was raised and trained at had burned down. Luckily, most of the horses escaped and sent to the Auction House. Veronica had recently broken off her engagement to Adam and went with a friend to this action. When she saw the paint mare and knew she was going to teach at an equine academy, she thought it would be only right to ride a horse herself. With the help of her friend, Veronica bought and trailered Holly to the academy where they will begin taking beginner Western lessons.
