Personality>> Vaxi is an easy-going horse on the ground, willing to follow with or without a lead rope, no matter if you're his person or someone he's met yesterday. If you walk into his pasture, be prepared to be followed around by this human-oriented horse. He has his vices, not wanting to open his mouth for the bit and pawing when he's asked to stand, tied or under saddle. He's comfortable with most types of noises and sights, having been ridden and walked in parades since he was a yearling, and rarely spooks in general, although when he does, he tends to try and run.
Caution Around>>
Basic History>> Vaxi was born at UC Davis through a mutually beneficial agreement with the facilities there. He was put through an intensive six month training when he was a yearling, including being walked in the local parade and participating in a halter class. This training culminated when he was sold at the yearly auction. His color would have suggested he be the high sale at that point, but to everyone's surprise he went for less than expected, including his new owner. The man, glad to not have to go to his bidding maximum, decided that this horse deserved the best of everything, instead. And so, Vaxi's training was continued, from the ground, until he was three years old. At that point, he was introduced to being ridden and took to it with the same aplomb as everything else. He was started on reining training and slowly brought through the ranks of showing by the same man who'd bought him as a yearling. However, an accident with another horse left the man in the hospital, with uncountable medical bills and no certainty of survival. His family sold the horses that he had so lovingly trained, and Sina's father scooped Vaxi up, with the hopes of using him to compete himself. However, after seeing a couple of runs with Sina and Vaxi over the summer, he realized that it wasn't meant to be his horse, and quietly made the arrangements to get Vaxi sent to Kentucky, telling Sina nothing about the horse's absence.
