Personality>> "Meticulous" is the word he prefers to use to describe himself. Another is "studious." He's an intelligent young man; he likes to learn, he likes to study. He usually comes across as cold and uncaring, but he actually has a big heart. He is difficult to get close to, though, maybe even hard to live with. This is because he's terribly neat and he gets very upset if things get cluttered. At all. Worse is his constant need to check expiration dates, even on frozen foods. Yeah, he spends most of the day cleaning his room, but he won't even touch food that expires a few days from now. Why? He's afraid he'll get sick. Will he throw up? It's not worth the risk. He doesn't care if it's been in the freezer. You're crazy. Not only that, but he seems to have no sense of humor and he can say some mean things to people. If you manage to get close to him, you'll never have a more loyal friend. As long as you can deal with his snide comments.

Appearance>> The first thing people notice and like to point out is that he has heterochromia; one green eye and one blue eye. He keeps his straight, dark hair neatly trimmed, although sometimes it gets in his eyes. It's probably the one thing that can be out of place without driving him crazy. His features aren't the most angular, but still somehow masculine. He has full lips, almost always turned down in a little frown. He's thin as a rake and very pale, so much so that people wonder how he goes out in the sun or stays on a horse. He's not very tall, so he uses a mounting block more often than not.

Criminal History>> Unlike his sister, he's managed to stay out of trouble.
Full History>> He and his twin sister were mostly raised by their father. Their older brother Nick knew their mother better, but she passed away when the twins were four. Since he was there to help raise the twins, they're all really close. Which may be why Chase is wary of new people. No one is really sure, but their mother's passing might also have something to do with his fear of getting sick. Since he was little, he set aside hours to clean his room. Before he could read, he would ask his brother or father if the food was expired. It got to the point where they would lie just so he would eat. It never made him sick, but he was furious when he found out.
While his sister was overeager to ride as soon as she could, Chase took a bit more coaxing. His father insisted he try it at least once. Eventually he got tired of being bothered and jealous that his siblings were getting all the attention, so he climbed on the back of their tamest horse and walked around the round pen in circles. Before anyone knew what had happened, he was going out every day to ride around bareback. It was a relief, even though he would spend a few hours mopping and sweeping every day after that. And washing his hands. And bathing the horses. And the cat. And the dog...
His father was great at dressage, so it came as no surprise that his younger son was eager to learn the movements. It took time, as training does, but once he got the hang of it he was winning ribbons left and right. As his sister took on jumping, he polished his dressage skills. When their father was absolutely certain that Chase was serious about competing, he bought a gentle Freisian mare, just for him. The pair hit it off right away. Since she had already been trained in advanced dressage, Chase was able to learn even more.
By the time his sister had pitched her idea to move to Kentucky for school, he felt he didn't have much left to learn. But, since she was going, he figured he might as well go along with her.

History>> Vex came into Chase's life when he heard a peculiar sound while he was brushing his teeth one evening. After some searching under the house, the family found a little black kitten. Since they already had a huge dog, they thought about taking her to the local shelter. Chase refused. It was lucky for Vex; she's been coddled ever since. By the time she was six months old, she ruled the house. If she wasn't looking down on the other pets from her perch on top of the couch, she was following Chase all over the house.
