Personality>> Evette is kind and friendly to almost everyone she meets. She likes to make the best impression and have people see her as she'd like to be viewed. She can be sensitive to opinions and how people treat her, especially as she is very good at reading people, but she doesn't tend to react much unless seriously provoked. She is loyal and protective of anyone she care about, but tends to keep to herself and have a very small social circle. Evette is also quite stubborn, and can be judgemental, but keeps her opinions to herself unless required otherwise. She is quite brave, but lacks the confindence to put herself out there or expand her comfort zone much, unless it comes to riding. She also has trust issues, so tends to keep her inner emotions guarded, this is why she allows herself to be around so few people. She is also quite paranoid, and hates walking by herself at night because of this. Evette is also quite quiet and keeps to herself, which can often make her seem shy, standoffish or aloof. However, deep down she is very loving, though this primarily shines through with animals and her father.
Likes>> Animals, reading, music, riding, summer, speaking french, swimming and snow
Dislikes>> Storms, walking by herself at night, big crowds, bratty/spoiled people, scary movies, bugs (mostly spiders) and heights
Fears>> Huge thunder storms, snakes, rejection and small spaces
Hopes>> To become an Olympian rider, to be a better mother than hers, to run a stud farm
Secrets>> Almost tried to burn her mother's house down when she was nine
Appearance>> Evette is a rather average height of 5' 6" and has a rather slight, lean figure. She is slightly underweight for her height and age, weighing only 110 lbs. She has long, wavy blonde hair that she occaisionally straightens or cuts, which she prefers to have hanging loose around her shoulders. She also has compelling dark green eyes, but at times she will hide her left one behind her blonde tresses, an anxiety driven habit she's had since she was little. Evette has her ears pierced, but doesn't wear much jewellery as it gets in the way and she doesn't like the flaunt her wealth, despite what popular view suggests. Eve likes to wear loose and comfortable clothing, and doesn't care if people catch her wearing a pair of sweatpants and a jersey that's too big for her. However, she also isn't afraid to dress up and wow everyone when required.
Markings>> Ears pierced, and scars on her left wrist
Medical History>> Premature birth, but completely healthy. Broke her arm falling of a horse when she was eleven, which healed up fine.
Full History>> Evette was born an only child to a rather strange couple. The union between them was mostly because her father had fooled himself into beleiving he loved her mother, and her mother just wanted money, and a child to parade around. Of course, she was thrilled to birth a beautiful young daughter, but was not fond of the difficulties of raising a child. And so Evette was mostly raised by her father, creating a strong bond between them. She wasn't the most positive girl, but she was a hard working, excellerant student, and so her mother would show off her achievements gladly whilst her father put the work into raising her and helping her with homework. She was a daddy's girl, his little Evie, and for the most part she was happy. Other than craving her mother's love of course.
However, around the age of six her parents' fighting got worse. Eve would get upset, therefore spoiling her otherwise perfect manners. She wound up yelling or crying, and would often run and hide in her room during their worst fights. Her mother would see this as weak and criticised her daughter, only tempting her to talk back. The first time she did, her mother hit her. Just a single slap to the face, but it had caused the child to run away. Of course she only got in more trouble than she was in before, and her father had to comfort her. After Evette was hit or pushed a few more times, her father finally took action. There was a big custody battle, but Eve's mother was determined, and hated having her possessions confiscated. And so there was a shared custody between them, and Eve would stay a week with her father, then the following week with her mother.
Eve hated staying with her mother, and as she grew a little older, she found herself becoming more and more unruly. Her father grew unsure how to handle her, yet he knew it wasn't entirely her fault. While still a good student, she'd get in trouble with other kids at school, and the little family war waging around her was only more cause for her to be bullied or pitied. By the time she was nine her father had a new girlfriend, who preferred calling her Kelsey, though Evette tolerated this because at the time she had begun hating the name her mother gave her. With the added combination of her mother's lectures and insults, along with being bullied and her father's new girlfriend, everything was getting to Eve. Not sure what to do, she sought a release, unfortunately this took the form of discrete self-harm, and even considered burning her mother's house down when she was asked to check the fire one time. However, with will power and determination, she fought off the urge and stopped harming herself. Instead she sought a way to wound her mother's pride instead.
Eventually, with the help of childcare services, her father and his girlfriend, and a friendly neighbour of her mother who saw her get beaten once, she managed to get out of the shared custody and be solely placed with her father. She began getting along with her father's girlfriend a lot more after this, and began to share the woman's love for horses, and found a much more effective outlet to dealing with stress in delving into the imaginary worlds in her books.
The small family moved to her father's girlfriend's home in France, specifically out in the country, where Evette indulged in her new love for horses. For her birthday, she was offered riding lessons, which she willingly accepted. At a new school and in a new environment, Evette had a new drive to be as kind to people as she'd like them to be to her, and learn to love life again. She found herself great at keeping her darker opinions to herself, and even better at it when she had a sufficient distraction. Learning the language of her new country certainly served as a great distraction, and she willingly accepted the challenge.
By the time she was thirteen, her father married his girlfriend, and she officially became Eve's stepmother. Of course, Eve had already begun thinking of her as a mother, even if she still called her by her name instead. While France had its charms, it didn't allow for her father to do the job he really wanted to do, and so, as the home in France was actually owned by her stepmother's family, the three moved back to the US with the comfort that they could always go back to their home in France. They lived in a new place in the US now, and while Eve was still seen as a 'spoiled rich kid' and could appear arrogant or aloof at times, she made a few horsey friends. Her stepmother gifted her two rabbits, Willow and Sage, and she had them for a year before bringing them with her when she finally found her way to Blue Ridge Academy, also bringing her beautiful mare.
Pet Name>> Willow
Registered Name>> None
Age>> 3
Sex>> Spayed Female
Species>> Rabbit
Breed>> Mini Rex
Registry>> None
Personality>> Willow is one of the sweetest little souls around. She is a friendly little bunny who loves nothing more than treats and cuddles, and would be content to be petted and played with all day long. She has inumberable sweet spots, and would let anyone pet her from Eve herself to a total stranger. In fact, she's even quite happy to introduce herself to other animals when she's been given the chance, though this hasn't been very often. Her current favourite living being is Sage, seconded only slightly by Evette.
History>> Willow and her littermates were a bit of a surprise to their mother's owner when they were born, but she willingly embraced them. Willow and her siblings grew up with a mother who was surprisingly tolerant to their antics, and amongst little children who happily played with them. Willow developed a love for nearly everything with a heartbeat almost instantly, and grew to love cuddles just as much. While the rest of her siblings were eventually rehomed, Willow was kept until she eventually had to be given up because the family couldn't keep her anymore, and she had started to get too lonely. She was then paired up with Sage and given to Evette, both of who she fell in love with instantly.

Pet Name>> Sage
Registered Name>> None
Age>> 4
Sex>> Spayed Male
Species>> Rabbit
Breed>> Mini Rex
Registry>> None
Personality>> Sage is quite a friendly little thing, but it can be a bit harder to earn his trust. He can be a bit jumpy, and doesn't really like being picked up much unless he really knows you, or he's held in a certain way. He'll tolerate it, but he does go a little tense when someone he doesn't know picks him up. Once he knows someone, or someone introduces themself to him, he's happy enough to be petted so one as he's given the freedom to run away. Unlike Willow, he does have a cuddle limit, though it tends to rely upon his mood. Despite his tolerant temperament, he has been known to bite when a stranger picks him up without letting him sniff them or petting them first.
History>> Sage, unlikely Willow, was bred on purpose, though not registered. He was raised until he was old enough to be weaned and spayed, and then moved on like all his other siblings. He wound up as a family pet for a little while, though soon found himself as a class pet. Here he had to learn to tolerate children and visitors petting him and picking him up, but he grew to have a pit of a short fuse when it came to being picked up, and he was lonely by himself. He ended up being given up when he had nipped a few too many eager children, and it became clear he wasn't cut out to be a class pet. He was then kept for a little while by his new owner all by himself, before being paired up with Willow. He was glad for her company despite her being almost as eager and energetic as the children, and when given to Evette, he was clearly glad to finally have one human. He began to settle down after this, and is now a bit more tolerant to strangers again, but there is still a risk of a sharp nip in certain circumstances.
