Full Name>> Bridgette Iris Beaumont
Nicknames>> Iris
Date of Birth>> 3/10/2003
Staff or Student>> Student
House>> Green Ribbon House
Gender>> Female
Sexuality>> Heterosexual
Face Claim>> Elle Fanning
Personality>> Bridgette, or Iris, as she prefers to be called, is generally sweet, outgoing, and bubbly. She wants everyone to get along. All she wants to do is make the world a better place, so she tries to be as nice as she can, even if someone is cruel to her. The negative to that is obvious; she lets people walk all over her, no matter who they are or what they've done. She loses a lot of sleep and wastes a lot of time doing that. Needless to say, she's been bullied in the past. That's the thing that bothers her the most; she can't imagine why anyone would want to be unkind to her, especially since she's so nice. That's really the only ounce of narcissism she has.
She does have her negative traits; she's been known to be a bit lazy, or at least slow to do her chores - and schoolwork. She makes decent grades, but nothing to write home about. She tends to worry about things she has no control over or to beat herself up about being lazy, though she hasn't done much to change that.

Dislikes>> Her first name
Romantic comedies

Fears>> Failure, falling off a horse, isolation
Hopes>> To own a ranch of her own someday, to ultimately make her parents proud
Secrets>> She hates herself for being lazy, and the bullying only makes it worse
Appearance>> She has long, wavy blonde hair that she will style as she sees fit. Maybe she straightened it or threw it in a messy bun. She doesn't often have time to braid it, so she'll only do that sometimes. One of the things she likes the most about herself is her wide smile. She often wears lip gloss to draw attention to it. She has round blue eyes and a wide but attractive nose. Her jaw is rather square, but not terribly masculine.
She's rather tall; about 5'9" barefoot. She has a petite build, good for riding. As for what she wears, she prefers flowy, "girly" clothes, or sweaters. Really, as soon as the weather starts to cool down, she starts pulling out her sweaters.
Markings>> Both ears are pierced
Medical History>> General sprains from riding; broke her arm when she was 10.
Full History>> Her energetic, happy personality really isn't any wonder; her parents didn't have a lot of money, but somehow they always provided her with what she wanted. Not that she was ever a demanding child. She grew up in Lexington, the "Horse Capital of the World." Needless to say, she had a fascination with horses from the time she could walk. Her parents didn't quite share her passion, and they figured she'd grow out of it. A lot of girls have a pony phase, right? But it was more than a phase for Iris. She'd beg her father for a horse at least three times a week. She drew unicorns and collected horse books.
When she reached first grade, her parents finally found a good place for her to take her first riding lessons. She started in Western riding on an old, grouchy pony. By third grade, she could ride a walk, trot, and lope with ease. Her interest in English riding started about that time, too, when her mother showed her the Kentucky Derby on television. She had a jockey phase for a while. And that was how she switched to English riding. She took up show jumping. Still, Western riding was dear to her, so she took up barrel racing, too. Her parents were concerned that she'd get hurt with all these high speeds, and she did a few times. But that never brought her down.
School was a bit different for her; in middle school, some of the other kids would make fun of her for liking horses. She could handle the smaller jabs, but there was a particular clique of girls that never stopped tormenting her. When she finally told her parents about it, they realized how much it was hurting her. After some researching, they found Blue Ridge. It seems like a perfect fit; surely no one will make fun of her passions here. What's more, she has her own horse now!
Pet Name>> Misha
Registered Name>> N/A
Age>> 3 years
Sex>> Spayed female
Species>> Cat
Breed>> Domestic Longhair
Registry>> N/A
Personality>> Misha is an energetic little cat. She catches mice and is quick to hunt. She'll pick a fight with you, but only if there's a window between you and her. If she likes you, she'll be very sweet. She'll rub up against your legs and generally be an affectionate cat. If she doesn't like you, the worst she'll really do is growl. She won't even pin her ears at you. She can walk on a leash like a dog, which is good because she has a lot of energy.
History>> She appeared on the Beaumont's doorstep one evening. At the time, she was about a year old. A filthy little thing; covered in dirt and leaves. Iris took her in, cleaned her up, and that was that. Her parents didn't mind having a cat around, after all. Of course, they thought she'd be an outdoor cat. Oh, they tried putting her outside. They took her to the vet to be spayed and then let her go. It wasn't long before she got in a fight with another cat. She was in bad shape when they took her back to the vet. A set of stitches and some pain medication saw her back indoors on the couch - permanently.
