Personality>> Ten is quiet, and skittish, not enjoying being touched. She prefers to stay out of the spotlight, watching but not speaking, to gather information. Where she once was awkward around people, she has developed something of a silver tongue, able to switch from crooningly sweet to rose-thorn cruel. Although she has developed better social skills, she still prefers to spend time with animals over other humans. She has a very good memory, but has made a habit of writing down information on paper, so she can reference it. Ten is a good problem solver, the Queen on a Chessboard, always ten steps ahead.
Sebastene tends to stay away from people, but if you do manage to befriend her, you'll have a friend for life. She is exceedingly loyal, and would do anything to protect herself, her friends, her allies, and her horse. Her trust is hard to earn, but unwavering, unless you attempt to harm her, her friends or allies, or her horse.

Appearance>> Ten stands at a slight 5'2". Her black-brown shaggy hair has been cut down to just passed her chin, with a streak of red on the left. She has very slight bangs, barely sticking out from the rest of her hair. Her eyes, a brownish color, are lined by thick, coal colored eyelashes. Her skin is perpetually pale, though it never seems to tan or burn. She has a small, fair nose, and pale lips.
Ten is lanky and thin, having grown up on the streets, and, as a result, not having healthy food as she grew. She has three long, thin, faded scars over the right side of her face, one slashing through her right eye, turning the brown color a paler tan and creating a perpetual squint. Her arms are covered in small, thin scars caused by the roughness of her upbringing. She has a thick scar along the length of her left calf, the result of a terrified dog she had startled. Her hands are long, thin, and bony, with the skin stretched tight over her knuckles.
Usually, Ten wears comfortable clothing. A pair of jeans, black combat boots, black t-shirt with a stylized horse on the front, and a plain black hoodie. On her back is a black and blue backpack, holding all of her supplies.
Markings>> A scar running the length of her left calf, some miscellaneous ones, and three over her right eye.
Medical History>> Multiple broken bones in her left leg, right arm, blind in right eye. Numerous other untreated wounds.
Full History>> When Ten was little, she was a happy, healthy child. She enjoyed playing with her parents' animals, although her father was seldom around. Her mother was sweet and caring, doting on her and doing her best to care for her with little input from her father. When she was slightly older than two, her parents took her to a market. While her parents were speaking with some of their friends they'd run into there, she managed to slip away, toddling to a stray cat, whom she wanted to cuddle. The feral little beast was less than pleased to be woken up by a toddler yanking its ear, and let it’s displeasure be known by raking her face with its claws. The wounds scarred over time, damaging the vision in her right eye.
After having grown used to the lack of sight in her right eye, she lived rather normally. However, when she turned six, something happened the night of her sixth birthday, that would change her life forever. That night, she was having a sleepover at a friends house, whom had invited her over to celebrate. At the same time, her family had lit multiple candles, planning on having a pleasant night to themselves. Unfortunately, one of the dogs got excited, and knocked over some of the candles, which set the house alight. Her family was unable to get out in time, and both human and animal perished in the inferno. When Ten returned, not wanting to be sent to an orphanage, she ran away and began to live on the streets.
To survive, Ten had to eat from trash cans, and sweet talk people into giving her food. She avoided people, unless she'd picked them as people who would feel pity for her, wherein she would approach them and sweet talk them into giving her food.
Ten lived on the streets for about two or three years, she's never been quite sure. She was incredibly lucky, she realizes now, that she survived that time.
However, eventually her luck gave out, and she was caught. CPS brought her in, and sent her to live with a couple who took in their 'unadoptable' cases. At first, the couple didn't know what to do with her. They enrolled her in online school, with part time classes at the local school, allowing her to catch up without being too far behind. When she wasn't working on schooling, she was working with the couple's animals. They ran a ranch, and quickly caught on to her talent with horses. She was given ownership of a foal bred on the farm after she proved to be capable, whom she still has to this day. She trained the horse herself, with the help of the father.
After convening with CPS, the parents sat her down. They had adopted her, and she was officially their daughter. She was the only foster child they had kept, the rest either being sent to other homes, or aging out. However, they cared for her like their own daughter.
After several years, wherein she rode some of their horses in competitions, they had a fair amount of money saved up from winnings. On the day of her sixteenth birthday, they sat her down. She feared that they had changed their mind, but they quickly assuaged her worries. That told her that they'd used the winnings she'd saved, as well as stock they'd cashed in, and money from studding out some of their prize stallions, to get her a place at Blue Ridge Riding Academy, so long as she came home for breaks, and kept in contact, as well as worked on the ranch for some time after graduation to pay back some of the tuition. She leaped at the opportunity, wanting to feel normal for once.
