Paige returned Jessa's smile somewhat wearily. It had been a long day for all of them, and although Paige was generally a fairly patient person, even her reserves were somewhat depleted. This time, she managed to get in before Piper could so much as open her mouth, and the girl gave her twin a slightly smug look. "We do Western riding; what about you?"

Piper narrowed her eyes playfully at her sister, but she didn't take any real exception to it. She was well aware that she talked too much, and she did her best to stop herself. It was just that sometimes, she didn't quite get there in time. So the brunette merely nodded to confirm her twin's words, taking a step back to loop her arm through Paige's.

Jessamine wasn't surprised at Paige's words. Yes, quarter horses were touted as all-rounders, but they were still a predominantly western breed. "I run barrels, mostly. Some trail classes and similar things for variety. Zo is also used to packing and camping." She gestured at the buckskin horse, "Alien is more about the show life." She grinned, "Maybe I'll see one or both of you in classes, anyway."

Paige nodded with a smile. "I'm sure you will," she agreed. Barrel were definitely more Piper's speed than hers; she wasn't saying that she would never indulge, of course, because she'd certainly done it in the past, but Paige was not nearly daring enough to do particularly well in any kind of competitive environment, and so she preferred to engage in something at a slower pace.

"You'll definitely see me," Piper added with a grin in the other girl's direction, running her fingers idly through her long, dark hair. "That sounds really cool... Jessa." She put a certain emphasis on the girl's name, proud to have remembered it thus far, though she didn't doubt that she would have forgotten it before long. After all, there were so many new things for her to remember; she could not possibly be expected to remember everyone's names!

Jessa grinned at them, "Well, that'll be awesome. We western riders are woefully outnumbered here." She grinned, "Not that the English riders are all bad, but at the same time... Some of them are." Her mind flashed to Liana. Three years of knowing about the girl, and sharing spaces, hadn't really helped things at all.
Her stomach grumbled, and Jessa flushed. She stopped the music from her phone, and then stuck the pen into the binding of her notebook, "I should probably head in for dinner. I think it's supposed to be tacos today." She grinned, "It was nice meeting you both!"

Paige giggled softly at the other girl's opinion of English riders. Personally, she could take them or leave them, but she knew that her sister had certain strong views on the subject, and she confidently expected an outburst of some description in a moment or two. Everyone she'd met so far seemed lovely; perhaps she hadn't met the bad ones yet?
"And you," she assured the brunette with a sudden smile, folding her arms across her abdomen. "I guess we'll see you around and about."

Piper snorted derisively. "English riders..." she muttered darkly, jamming her hands into her pockets. "Stuck up..." But she cut herself off there, which was perhaps just as well, and gave the girl a half-apologetic smile. "Yeah, great to meet you," she echoed her sister's sentiment with a firm nod for emphasis. "Catch you around at some point, I expect... I'll probably be lost."
