Nina pulled her hair back into a ponytail as she walked back to the Red Ribbon Housing. After a long morning practice with Ratio, she needed a to take a break and just relax. She has been so focused on making sure the mare doesn't forgot their skills before summer break ends. Glancing up at the midly cloudy sky, she felt the warm rays of the sun. The tempature seemed cooler than the usual hot weather these past few days. "Sometimes even the sun needs a rest too." Though the clouds didn't seem dark or grey at all, so she knew it wouldn't be raining unexpectedly any time soon.
As she entered the first floor of the Red Ribbon house, she approached the common room that has always been located on this here floor. She glanced in to see if the room was already occupied before deciding that it wouldn't hurt to just relax here. After all, Red Ribbon was her home here at BRRA and you know what they say, 'There is no place like home.' It had much more entertainment than her own room, and she doesn't think her roommate is in their shared room either. If she was, they didn't really talk as much. She plopped herself in a spot on the couch that was facing the plasma screen TV. She wasn't really in the mood for watching television, she was more of a book worm person. She looked through her bag as she found a book she used to love reading.
Opening to the first chapter of Black Beauty, she forgot how much she loved reading this story when she was younger. She had no other books packed in her bag, so she decided to just go with it. The girl was so caught up in reading, she forgot her whole surroundings. They were right, reading takes you into a whole different world when the book is right. Already on the next few chapters did she realize she was hearing approaching footsteps. It was then she decided to look up from her text and meeting what was at her presence.
