Personality>> Guy is the definition of a man. He is is strong physically, and mentally. He appears to be as tough as nails, and rarely does any sort of soft emotion escape him. When it does, he is quick to get defensive, and this can cause people to get angry or offended but that is not his intentions at all. He just doesn't know how to express that side of him.
Guy is rather reserved, and not very talkative, but when he does speak in his soft, raspy tone (mostly thanks to smoking) people do listen. The best way (fastest way rather) to get him to open up if you want to know more about this mysterious tall drink of water, is to give him a few drinks of beer. Stay away from whiskey though, he only looks for a fight.
Like all men, Guy likes women. He doesn't however, just sell his heart out to him. It takes a special type of girl to ease her way into his heart. But he is very loyal to the ones he loves. And tries his best to please them, though his job always comes first.

Appearance>> Most women who see Guy call him handsome. He has a rough edge about him, with his sruffiness he wears around his face. He has a very strong jawline, and dark blue eyes that stand out against his complexion. He looks fit, and does work out at least two days out of the week.
Guy stands roughly 6' 2", but the heels of his cowboy boots make him appear a little taller. His hair is usually a dark dark brown, sometimes seeming black in a darker room. He wears either thin long sleeve shirts, or button downs, and you will always find him in a pair of comfortable Ariat jeans with designs on the back pockets.

Full History>> Guy was born in Dallas, TX. He grew up with a older brother and two cousins in Sunset, TX with his parents. Sunset was a small northern town with a registered population of 332. Rodeo was very popular in those days, and Guy, Gary (his brother), Joey (cousin), and Marty (cousin) all started riding bulls and broncos when they were around fourteen. It was Guy's senior year of high school when he qualified for the PBR finals out in Las Vegas. At seventeen, he was one of the youngest competitors to go. The weekend before Las Vegas, his brother was riding in Amarillo. Guy and his cousins drove over two hundred miles to watch Gary ride, not knowing it would be his last.
The chute opened and Gary rode a total of 7.6 seconds, before he fell off and the bull landed on his head before the rodeo clowns even had a chance to get to him.... Guy never showed up for his ride at the PBR finals and to the rodeo world, he dropped off the face of the earth.
After graduating high school, Guy went to college at OSU (Oklahoma State University) where he spend 7 grueling years becoming an equine veterinarian. At age 24, he graduated and was now Dr. Guy Strait but mostly called 'Doc' by his friends and locals. He opened up his first clinic back home in Sunset. But after three years, he decided to move. Guy found a rather prestigious equine practice in Fort Worth, where horses were sent in from all over the States for treatment. It was there, he fell in love with a veterinary assistant, Makayla Horner.
It seemed to be the perfect relationship, and after two years, Guy proposed to her. They had been set to get married the following spring. However, Makayla's health started falling down hill fast, and doctors couldn't find out why. As it turned out, she had a rare form of cancer in her bloodstream and it was found too late. At the age of 27, she died. Guy was devastated... He started smoking, drinking, and gambling, while continuing his job, hiding his picked up bad habits. But his coworkers knew no matter how much he denied it, and the board committee decided they didn't want a veterinarian like that on the premises.
That was five years ago. Since then, Dr. Strait has been in and out of smaller clinics around the States. He saw an advertisement for a equine veterinarian needed at a boarding school in Kentucky. With nothing to lose, Guy applied for the position. Making sure of course, that cats were allowed in the housing. His cat is probably was has kept his sanity for the last few years.

is a very sweet and lovable cat. She is, in a lot of ways, opposite from her owner and is outgoing and loves attention. She loves sitting in laps, and will even lick arms and faces. She is not very playful though, and doesn't get along well with other animals.
History>> Sassy was brought in as a kitten to one of the clinics that Guy was working at. She was a stray, and the people who brought just wanted her off the street. Guy was irritated at first, not wanting the responsibility of a kitten, but the little thing just grew on him to the point where he had to keep her.
