Personality: This mare comes off as being reserved around people she doesn't know. She isn't quick to trust people, but once you have taken your time to earn her trust and respect, she is loyal to the bone. In the pasture, she is known to bully the weaker horses, but isn't known to be at the top of the pecking order, none of this comes out in the arena though. Although she doesn't enjoy being petted and dotted on, she is affectionate toward the people she likes. She loves to be bathed and is easy to groom. If you want a best friend for life, offer her a sugar cube.
Caution: Watch for other horses, because if any other horse spooks, you're going to loose control of this girl too

Basic History: There isn't a lot known about her past other than the fact she came from a backyard breeding establishment. Bought at an auction by a past student and introduced to Eventing, Fallon was left behind when the student had to leave the Academy for family reasons.

Personality: Cassie is a very diverse zorse, who throws her heart and soul into everything she does. Sometimes worrying to people who don't know her, it is quite common for this mare to foam at the mouth while she is being ridden. Out in the pasture, she is known for being the biggest bully toward horses that are lower in the pecking order than herself, though she isn't at the top so is often reprimanded by the alpha horse. While this mare has a good understanding of your personal space, her ground manners aren't the best, and can get defensive about her own personal space if you move too quickly around her and will defend herself in any means possible if she feels threatened.

The History
Basic History: Born in South Africa, Cassie was raised by a small-time horse breeder, whom experimented with a Zebra stud once, she was his creation. When she was two, she was sold to a prestige riding school where she was used as a leaser horse. She was leased out to a young man who abused her, but he always told the instructor that she got the scars from being bitten in the pasture. The scars healed, but she didn't.

Basic History: Tonka has literally been there and done that. He done everything from jumping to dressage. After a brilliant life, his owners finally decided that it was time to retire him, and Katherine picked him up as a paddock mate for the younger horses.

Personality: Guardian is a sweet angel of a horse, a beginner’s dream. He’s a Perchron mix gelding, and at seventeen point three hands he’s a gentle giant. Guardian, surprisingly, has the movement of a dressage horse. His big frame can be carried with a smooth and flowing gait. His responses are usually very prompt. At his age he’s a quick learner since he’s not easily distracted.

The Personality
Personality: Wisp is as sweet and gentle as she looks. She mothers everything young, and not always smaller than her, which makes her a great nanny for young horses and ponies. She knows what she's doing in the arena or out on the trail, making her the perfect mount for any novice rider (and her breed also allows her to carry a good weight). She is also a great child's mount as she seems to become even more gentle when she knows she has a child sitting on her. She has perfect ground and stable manners, isn't pushy with novice handlers. Her only fault is that she tends to get greedy when it comes to treats and food.

The History
Basic History: Wisp grew up in a riding stable and because of this has had many riders over her life. When she was younger she did a bit of everything, however as she got older she was retired from dressage and jumping and was mostly used in the lead-rein classes. She has always known love and hasn't found a reason to be afraid of people.

Personality: Belarus is the perfect beginner horse. He's patient, steady, and always ready to help his rider. If his rider falls off, he stops and waits for them to get back on, even in the worst of situations. Belarus has never thrown a rider. He would be considered bombproof, and very gentle, in spite of his size and appearance.

The History
Basic History: Belarus was born on a riding stable in Kentucky. He was used as a lesson horse as soon as his body was ready. The big bay soon became a favorite among the riders, and fights started to break out before lessons about who got to ride him. The fights got so bad, the stable decided it would be best to sell Belarus, and they decided the spring auction would be the best time to auction him off. They did so, and Crick's parents bought the gelding. Crick's parents stabled him and rode him themselves, Crick had moved out at this point. When they heard Crick was working at a riding academy, they sent Belarus to her, as a surprise.

Personality: Blue is very aloof and stoic. He doesn't get along well with other horses, or really, anyone. However, once you've broken through to him, he'll be one of the most loyal horses you could find, and if he finds you worth the time, he'll do whatever you ask of him. He is the best for only advanced riders, and should never be taken out for trail rides.

Personality: Sid, despite his name, is a wonderful beginner's mount. He tends to 'babysit' new riders by going slow and steady. If he feels a rider is confident in the saddle, however, he will start testing them, usually rather heavily. When he is in his stall, he is quite the barn favorite. He nickers at anyone who passes his stall, especially if they've ever given him a treat. Whenever one of the barn hands is feeding, he will be very, very verbal, 'talking' to them as they work.

The History
Basic History: Bought off the track as a lead pony for the town of Blue Ridge, Sid had fast gaits and the ability to calm a high-strung racehorse. He was never abused, or underweight, and he was bred by a world-known Paint Horse breeder. He was sold as a yearling to a cattle farmer, but he didn't have the obvious 'cow sense' the farmer was looking for, so he was sold again, this time to a trainer, where he would be trained at the age of four to be an all-around western horse. He was then sold to the racetrack, and then to Blue Ridge as a lesson horse.

He can also be very bold, and an assured rider will need to handle him if they wish to have a successful partnership together.

Personality >> G is a fairly friendly horse, but he seems very harsh. He doesn't enjoy goofing around with other horses, and works extremely hard during sessions. He hasn't had an off day where he enjoyed goofing around since Quarry bought him, and even the time spent as an Academy mount hasn't changed that. Part of it is the fact that he probably never learned to play, and the rest might just be how he is. It's hard to get him adjusted to new people, and he'll often stand completely still, head tucked, when someone he doesn't know approaches him.

Therefore, she bought him. He was given to the Academy upon her graduation.

Personality: Shadow is calm and very well tempered. He's always willing to work, unless he's eating. Then he might throw a small fit. He enjoys his food quite a bit. While Shadow is calm, he doesn't trust people very well. It took Cody a year to earn Shadow's trust, and he practically lived in Shadow's stall for that year.

The History
Basic History: Shadow was abused as a foal and yearling. His owners were taken to jail after Cody discovered Shadow in a ditch just outside the owners' house. Cody adopted Shadow and slowly nurtured him back to health. Luckily, Shadow had only been malnourished. He was the only horse still alive on the farm. Cody started training Shadow after he had earned the gelding's trust and knew that his health was good enough.
