Personality>> Vervain is a bit of an odd and outgoing person, while also being prone to mood swings in certain circumstances. To general strangers she can be a bit defensive and rather rude, but as a friend she is loyal and protective. Vervain is also honest, and in a more so brutal kind of way. Her strength, however, lies in her mind. She is extremely sarcastic, but even so, she is also quite logical. She likes to make smart remarks that get her in trouble and secretly loves to quote former authors, though she tries to refrain from doing such, and she has a soft side for all animals.

Appearance>> Vervain is only about average whenever it comes to height, standing at about 5 feet and 4 inches. Her body is slim, despite her constant eating, though her skin has a pale coloring to it that can be a bit unhealthy looking. Her hair, as red as blood, fell in waves to her ribcage, and in contrast her eyes were astoundingly icy blue. She walked only somewhat confidently, usually lacking the confident strut and sway of the hips a lot of girls seemed to put on. Her lightly tinted pink lips were generally turned down a bit at the tips, a bit of a permanent frown that seemed to stay on her face most of the time.
Markings>> A thin, long scar about a foot long cut diagonally across her stomach, and she also had a pair of snakebite piercings which were now only holes due to school rules.

Criminal History>> Yes, for several small things, such as stealing something or getting in an occasional fight for which she was not at fault for causing.
Full History>> Vervain is rather closed up about her past, which is quickly becoming more common to people. When she was little her parents abused her and allowed their friends to do what they wanted to the little girl, and as she grew older it only grew worse, only doubled by the fact that she had begun to rebel and fight even harder to what she had eventually learned was not right. She had always refused to speak to anything that was going on at her home, however, and it was only due to the inexplicable black eye and bruised limbs she had come to school with one day that had raised questions and caused her parents to be found out.
As she continued on through life she had numbed herself against any pain that could be associated with her sick, twisted family, and before long was put up for adoption. Her most recent foster parents were kind people, and had discovered her soft spot for animals, and had managed to have it arranged so that she could enroll at Blue Ridge, where they only allowed her to go if she kept up her straight A's and had proof she was working hard. Secretly, she was glad to be away from the loving, normal family.
