xx. FOCUSED
Above all, this girl is focused on the prize. She doesn’t do things without thinking and she makes sure all the things that matter are up to date. Henri doesn’t waste her time, or at least she doesn’t think she does. Some may say she is even a little too intense with the goals she sets for herself. Still, she can’t be the blame. Growing up next to a perfect sister has its bad sides. While she may be the best in many things, Henri is not good at expressing her feelings. The only realistic feeling she achieves is when she does lose, and then it’s even more focused to get to the top.

Henri never gives up. She’ll drive herself into the ground before she reaches even close to calling it quits. This personality trait is one that has pushed her to the top of her class ever since. While she isn’t a nerd, the girl seriously cares about her grades as well as her social life. This being said, the sixteen year old doesn’t exactly get any sleep ever. Just enough sleep so that she can focus the next day. Henri fights hard to earn praise from the parents that for the most part ignore her.

Despite her needs to do the best she can, Henri honestly will try to have a caring heart. She doesn’t like people turning backs on others, so she does her best not to do the same. While it may cause sacrifice for her, the girl does have her own set of morale to stick to. She doesn’t mind seeing others get hurt, rather the effect it’ll have on her afterwards. This is possibly the only good thing that has come out of being sisters with the supposedly most perfect person in the universe. She doesn’t want to have her sister’s mean side.

xx. SOCIALY AWKWARD
Well, the fact she wants to have good relationships with others fights along with her busy schedule. With all the classes and things she takes, Henri rarely has time to go and hang out. Though, in the few moments she does, she turns into the sweet and loving girl that truly exists underneath her hard outer layer. With boys however, it’s a different story. Being wrapped up in her parent’s little perfect shell for years; Henri hasn’t really had much exposure to them before she came to this BRRA. She gets somewhat self-conscious and shy around them, though with the building drama of the school; Henri is soon to harden up.

xx. FIGURE
Henri is the somewhat petite type, though she does have a tall height to be ranked in that section. While she doesn’t make it to high heights, she still does have to worry about beating her date in heels. The girl finds her figure somewhat too small, especially the humble portion of the upper side of it. She does however take pride in her flat stomach and how much she works to keep it that way. Henri doesn’t like to be imperfect in any which way possible especially if her father has many friends who being their contradicting old ladies over to inspect and gossip over every rich little child.

Henri has what one would call a mature face. Very refined, yet she looks older than she actually is. However, as soon as the girl smiles, the child shows within her. Full lips set on directly below her long nose, and the high cheekbones give her a classical look. Coming from Irish and Italian descent, she has somewhat of elegance to her face as well as the thin body to go with it. Her somewhat deep blue doe-eyed gaze is almost never as harsh as her words. They also do let a door open to her true emotions, even when she’s trying to hide her best.

Henri’s hair is actually a pure mousy brown. While it does light up in the sunlight to reveal a blondish color, it basically is the only feature of her that she hasn’t ever tried to change. In all honesty, the girl actually does like her hair and how it waves down her back. She does straighten it once in a while, though really, it is mainly left alone. Naturally, her hair is thick and volumes and it does frizz at times. Being the daughter of a rich man however, Henri has products to help with that.

Anything expensive and comfortable manages to squirm its way into Henri’s closet. She is somewhat spoiled with clothes and she does love to create her own outfits and look her best. She likes to dress elegant most of the time, though when in her normal moods, Henri will kill for anything that just is comfortable. Her main style is sexy and elegant though, with a graceful walk to pair along. She does have her rich side after all. Henri loves shoes as well. From heels to flats, she’ll manage to pair it up with something sweet in her humongous selection of clothing.

xx. CHILDHOOD
Henrietta Marie Charleston was born on August 15th, 1996 to somewhat loving parents, Frieda Charleston and Edward Charleston. Her sister, Clarence was already three. From the beginning of her life, Henri learnt that her parents didn’t care about her the harsh way. As soon as her mother healed up from the pregnancy, Henri was handed over to nanny, after nanny, after nanny. She barely got to see her father as he was always off on business trips, and her mother was always off doing her social things. Instead, the girl managed her time by watching all the grooms at the stables in her father’s estate or playing with the large amount of dolls she owned. In another’s eyes, the girl’s life was practically perfect- she got nearly everything she wanted. Except she didn’t. She didn’t get her parent’s attention. From the time of her toddler years, Henri had always been vaguely interested in the horses. She would enjoy their company as the grooms and such got them ready, and then she would watch the riders ride. Still, by the time she reached school age- Henri was immediately told how important her studies were. Even in first grade, she was pushed hard to do her work well. She was pushed more than the kids in school got pushed due to her home schooling by a private tutor. She enjoyed learning, just not the intense focus her parents were starting to give her.

xx. EARLY TEENS
By the time Henri made it to her eleventh year in life, she had already grown accustomed to the obvious infatuation her parents had with her sister. Along with winning the all-around academic champion trophy at school, Clarence Charleston had managed to become captain of the middle school cheer team and earn popularity with all her friends. It frustrated the younger sister so much due to the fact her older sister got to go to a normal school (extremely private, expensive school at that) and she didn’t. The reason for this was, her parents didn’t want their less successful child to embarrass their status at the schools, though Henri only found out much later. When her sister got to bring friends home and they would have fun, Harley would be sitting there in the background, working her ass off to please her parents. However, Henri had something Clarence didn’t; she had the horses. While she didn’t know it, Henri was quite the equestrian. She had already been riding and showing her father’s horses by eight when her parents finally decided to buy her a horse in attempt to shut up and leave them alone. Extremely happy, she worked with her private horse riding teacher and learned how to train the horse as well as ride to a bit more difficult level. When it came time for shows, Henri’s parents uncaringly let her show and win; letting off as a phase she was going through.

xx. RECENTS BEFORE BRRA
It turned out to be a long phase that never stopped. Henri’s parents started to grow concerned for their youngest daughter. Was she going to become a failure because of the distraction of horses? Everything blew over when Henri scored her first C because of a show. Mr. Charleston immediately sold off her precious horse and banned the poor girl from the stables. She was only able to sneak in a few times here and there and watch from her window. The girl was miserable. Then Clarence’s boyfriend stepped into the picture as Harley went through her depression. Immediately, her parents sprung on her older sister instead, complaining about how improper he was and how ridiculous she was for dating him. At this moment was Henri’s moment to shine. She pushed her grades up all the way, earning a perfect grade point average for her second year of home schooled high school. Her parents, somewhat impressed for the first time of their younger daughter decided perhaps, it was finally time for her to go. To her complete surprise however, they shipped her off to a boarding school. The now sixteen year old girl immediately decided to shout out about their terrible parenting skills to their faces. Her parents, uncaring went on with life until she blackmailed them, saying she would send out all their secrets if they sent her. Shocked, Mr. Charleston made a deal with her. If she went, she could choose her own horse and show however much she wanted to as long as she kept her grades up. Unable to refuse, Henri went along with it and here she is, yet again ignored by her parents and in Blue Ridge Academy.

Brass is a spoilt, big baby. He loves his owner quite a bit however, though isn’t exactly the most loyal pet in the universe. He does have an attitude, and supposedly, this is what Henri loves most about the tom. The Maine Coon is a pretty big guy, which brings in a certain level of cockiness. He needs his food in the morning and the night and isn’t afraid to bother Henri about it. He also needs his litter box in perfect condition or else, he resorts to doing his business on the floor. While the cat is frustrating at times, Brass does add it all up when he cuddles. He loves to be cuddled and insists on sleeping in Henri’s bed, curled up right next to her body heat.

Brass was actually born with a personal Maine Coon breeder, but was unqualified for showing due to his different hind leg. It was born somewhat twisted, though it is now fine but doesn’t allow him to do some of the things he should be able to. Due to this factor, the breeder couldn’t exactly make money off him, but was kind enough to keep him till she could sell him to someone. Henri, wanting a companion for her depression immediately sought out cats as the right answer. For many days, she searched the internet for cats and breeds, and then finally found Brass. She felt a certain connection with the tom, being the outsider of the family as well, and the two got along well and she immediately adopted him. Brass became her new pet at BRRA and keeps her company now. She loves him to death.
