The Personality
Personality: River (Rivière, sometimes) is basically a sassy French boy. He's intelligent, maybe too smart for his own good, but his heart is in the right place. He's gentle and even tempered, but knows just which buttons to push when he doesn't want to work. River is easy to read emotionally, generally telegraphing how he feels and what he's thinking with his body language. Someone once told Chase that they'd 'never seen a boy and a horse so much in love.'

The History
Basic History: River was the first horse born of the breed restoration project Chase interned with. His type wasn't quite "classical" enough for the project's aims, the young an was attached straight away. The foal was imprinted on the young man, and it was all over. As he aged, they bonded, and Chase started working on ground driving and basics in riding. He's become Chase's project, and came back with the man from France.
