The Personality
Personality: Taboo is a friendly horse who is prone to nickers, whinnies, and everything in between. He has an intelligent spark in his brown eyes and is always willing to learn something new. He has always been a patient horse, at least compared to others his age. After he grew out of his adolescent age, the calm disposition of his breed became apparent. Boo will stand his ground against most things, due to his breed's bullfighting purpose. This makes it a little more difficult to establish dominance, but that means it is all the more vital to do so from day one. His one odd quirk is that for an unknown reason, he does not like young horses at all. He will turn into a bully and has been known to bite, hard.
Caution Around: Horses age 1 and under
The History
Basic History: Taboo was born in a prestigious stable specializing in Lusitanos and Andalusians. He was trained in dressage by the barn owner herself and sent to Robert Ackerman as a gift from a mutual friend. Taboo thrived under Robert's care, and soon began winning the local shows. Robert dabbled in jumping as well, eager to try new things. Taboo was a willing learner, though it was clear that his talent lay in dressage. When Robert was sent elsewhere, Boo was leased out to Robert’s friendly rival, who continued his dressage training and also started him in Western riding. He was 9 years old at this time. At first, he was ridden by only one person, and began making a name for himself. However, Robert's rival had his time taken by the birth of his firsts child, and Boo became a lesson horse. By the end of the 5 years, he had become a favorite mount for beginners who were ready to move onto basic jumping or dressage. His patience and calm disposition served him well in this regard.
