The Personality
Personality: Sapphire is a beautiful Azteca gelding, and he knows it. Every step is in its own way a show-off, and he loved moving in a way that let everyone-- horse and human alike-- know that he is the kind of horse that any human will be lucky to have. Of course, he is not perfect, and has much training to do until he could be champion of anything. Despite his tendency to show off, Sapphire is an obedient horse, who loves treats and to love a little on any human near him. Having been trained since it was possible, he is extremely smart and has a beautiful step, though one must be careful whenever telling him to speed up and slow down.
Caution Around: Hitting your heels too hard against him, and pulling on the bit
The History
Basic History: Sapphire had been born in a professional Azteca breeding farm, and he had been handled since birth. He had been trained with care and had been taught to be extremely well-rounded, learning how to push himself and bring out the best in his beautiful breeding, which comprised of Andalusian, Quarter Horse, and Mexican Criollo bloodlines. As he reached the age of 3 he had been sold to a gentle but expectant blonde boy, and Valentine and Sapphire have formed a bond over the last 3 years. This bond has brought out the best in the gelding, and whenever Valentine is astride him the two are a formidable horse, no matter the discipline.
