Turn away 'cause I need you more
Personality>> There are few ways to describe Xavier's personality all in all. Whenever he thinks, he does so in such a way that it is rather good that humans are incapable of reading the mind. His conscious thoughts come out in aloof sentences, as he registers the world around him in sort of a dull sense. With horses, he always keeps his calm, but whenever it comes to the stallions he is sure to lead them with a firm hand. With people, he is hesitant and uncertain, while also being cool and somewhat detached from the world around him. He is not without his friends, though he is the kind of guy you have to know him well to understand him in even a vague sense. He is friendly, in a way that if you speak to him, he will reply. To actually strike up a conversation, however, does require a little coaxing, but whenever he knows you well enough he can seem like any other friend.
Likes>> Horses, adrenaline, running, jumping, barrel racing, swimming on horse back, swimming in general, rivers
Dislikes>> People who talk too loudly, overbearing goody-two-shoes, having a surprise ruined, being behind people who walk slow, overly dramatic people
Fears>> Heights over 2 stories, bath tubs
Hopes>> To keep his siblings safe and supported, to get a life
Secrets>> Caused the death of his father (self-defense)
It’s the way I’m feeling I just can’t deny
Appearance>> The most popular categorization of him was the kind women seemed to use most: tall, dark, and handsome. His hair was a medium brown color, soft and with an edgy fringe that occasionally decided it would impair sight out of his left eye. The tall part of the description was based on his 6'3", lanky frame. The dark part? He was tanned nicely, but not overly, and it did not help he always had this somewhat brooding look on his face. Handsome. It could be defined in any feature of his body, whether it be the lean and muscled frame, the corded biceps, the edgy look, or his distinguished jaw line. Maybe it was all of those, combined with the captivating steel gray color of his eyes.
Markings>> One large tattoo, which depicted a large, faded red and orange phoenix, with wings that touched on either of his sides, and flames licked at his torso and stretched to curl delicately at his back. Below the Phoenix is a small, gray mound, which the phoenix seemed to be forming from. Also, there are several cuts on his arms and wrists.
But I’ve gotta let it go
Medical History>> Hospitalized for mental instability for 3 months, is now deemed stable. Reason explained in history.
Criminal History>> None, aside from a trial where he was found innocent due to self-defense.
Full History>> What Xavier had was far from a happy childhood. His parents were the kind of low-life scum you would expect to find in the shadier districts of Louisiana, which got very shady indeed. Both parents were abusive, his mother an alcoholic and his father a drug pusher. It had been a miracle that he and his 4 siblings had escaped alive, but as they oldest, he personally had done so just barely. He had been about 13 whenever his father and mother had came at him, for some unimportant misdemeanor. He was pretty sure he had not cleaned his "room" thoroughly, and that same night he had returned home at 1 in the morning from something or another. His father had yelled at him, his mother had been slightly more physical and delivered several slaps to the young boys face. Whenever he rebelled, growing tired of it, his father had taken him into the bathroom and shoved him into the tub, going at him with a razor.
The boy had been lucky. One of his siblings had called the cops, and they had soon arrived with paramedics. It had been something similar to luck that had allowed the young and abused child to escape from there alive, along with all of his siblings. Xavier had, however, been placed into a mental hospital. It was not that he was a danger to humanity or anything of the sort, but the tragedy had traumatized him. He had been unstable and scared of every thing that moved, as if he expected it to take a go at him. He had been most afraid of bath tubs and adults. After several months he had recollected his senses, however, and had been released. They put him in an orphanage along with his brothers, and the 5 children had been extremely and had been adopted by a kind man and his wife. The two lived a modest life, but they had never done without.
While the others had reveled in the new home, he had been terrified of the couple. He distanced himself and did whatever he felt he needed to do, and kept well out of his "parents" way. He had been quick to get a job and earn a living for himself, and somewhere along the way of picking up odd jobs he had also picked up a love of horses. The couple had a lavish amount of land and he had come to them one day, asking for a horse. They had granted him his wish, a lovely and lively young filly with a creme coat that had always been a pain to groom. He had loved that horse, and had felt a numbing pain whenever she had been caught in the road, staring down a pair of headlights of the truck that had hurtled towards her.
Many years passed before he had applied to a job at Blue Ridge academy, and he was nearing the age of 25 whenever they had accepted his application. Feeling a calm sort of joy at the thought of his new job, he had bought himself a young mare, and taken off as soon as he made sure his siblings would be set with either another sibling or the overwhelmingly large inheritance that had been a shock considering how modestly the couple had lived.
We found love in a hopeless place
