Full History>> Jordan grew up in Watford, England, a town just outside of London. He grew up in a military family. His father was a high ranking officer and commanded order and success from his children. Jordan was the oldest of 5 children. His parents pushed him to succeed in all his endeavors whether they were something he wanted to do or not. When he was 13 his mother died sudden in car accident. His father showed no emotion whatsoever, and commanded that the children do the same. Jordan felt that he had to be strong for his siblings so he did as his father commanded.
Jordan excelled in school, but was continuously pushed by his father to be better, because there was always room for improvement. He graduated at the top of his class and went on to a very prestigious college. He got his first teaching job at a local academy. There he really connected with a student that transferred there from Mississippi named Marleigh. Though he didn't really let on, he connected with Marleigh too. He learned from her that you could strive to be your best, but you didn't have to shut out everyone to do that. As Marleigh moved on in school she continued to visit him, though he acted as if she was just bother, not knowing how to accept Marleigh's kindness. When Marleigh was in Year 10 she was diagnosed with leukemia. Jordan came to visit her in the hospital every day. He started to learn how to accept and reciprocate kindness from his student. When she died a year later, he was devastated. For a year, he shut everyone out. He turned to alcohol to try and escape his grief.
One night, in a drunken stupor he ended up at Marleigh's grave. He then realized that she would have hated him for this. The next day he sobered up, and look for a new job. He found a job teaching at Blue Ridge Riding Academy in America, and wanting a fresh start, he immediately replied. As soon as he was accepted he got on the first plane to Kentucky.
