Andrew walked into the band room after school. The day had been good so far, none of his students seemed like they'd be too much trouble. He was a little disappointed in the music class though, don't get him wrong, he already loved he students that were in the class, he just expected that more would want to be a part of the class. He was even more upset when he found out that there were less students in the extra curricular choir. This was supposed to be the fun choir. In the class, he had to meet certain standards with the music for competition. At least one classical piece, one from a musical, and so on. But in extra curricular choir, he could pick any music he wanted, even have student input, see what they wanted to sing. He could add choreography, anything he wanted to. He want EC choir to be a team, where they all worked together to pick music, come up with dance moves, and such. He had watched the TV show Glee a couple of times, and he wanted a choir like that, a choir that was practically a family. But for now, he would have to work with what he had. Later, when they recruited their friends and he recruited some kids from his calc class, he would have the choir he dreamed of working with.

He wanted this "class" to be lauded back and fun. He loosened his tie and sat the chairs in a tighter circle. He sat at his computer and looked up music for his music class while he waited for the kids to get there.

[Cortney Smit]

Yay, school was over! Cortney stood in her dorm room, fluffing out her chocolate coloured hair before pulling it back into a ponytail. She quickly changed out of her riding clothes and into her cheer uniform, as she would head to practice once choir was over. She had enjoyed music class and was so glad that she had changed classes. She had hidden from music for too long, and after rediscovering her love for horses, and the fact that she had nothing to feel guilty about because of it, she was finding herself all over again, and this she put to her becoming captain of the cheer squad.

As she turned to leave the room she shared with Blythe, she looked at the photo of her and Myriam. "It doesn't mean I miss you any less though." She said as she blew a kiss toward the photo and slipped from the room.

Heading across to the academic building, she walked up to the band room and breezed into the room, eyebrow arched when she saw that, like music class, she was the first to arrive. "Hi Mr E." She greeted the man with a bright smile as she walked over to sit down on a chair.

    Kate practically skipped to the musical room after her classes, thrilled to finally have the chance to sing with others and maybe even show off a little. The room was somewhere she frequented, whether it be to sing and secretly shuffle through stray sheet music, or practice her violin, which she tried to do often. After her riding lessons that day, Kate had rushed to get changed, knowing that feeling her best would lead to her sounding her best. After washing up and throwing on an outfit, she'd been ready, and rushed to the music room even though she would have no problem being on time.

    Upon arrival, she gathered herself before entering and then entered, not meaning to call attention to herself, but not minding if she did. The only other student there so far was Cortney, a girl she knew from her other classes, many of which were performing arts classes. If Kate had any competition for solos or parts, Cortney would probably be it. Smiling at the other girl briefly as she entered, Kate then turned immediately to the teacher, "Good afternoon!" Her tone was, as always, naturally aloof sounding, and it was something more than just her accent that did it.

    Kate chose a chair among the many empty seats and crossed her ankles carefully before settling in to wait for the rest of the members of the choir.

After Everleigh had finished her equestrian classes she ran quickly to her dorm room to change. She waved at her roommate Nina, telling her she was headed out to Choir. She threw on a pair of skinny jeans and comfortable shirt. She tossed around the idea of wearing the treble clef necklace her mom had given her last Christmas. Well why not? she thought to herself. She pulled the necklace around her neck and clasped the back. "Bye." She called to her roommate as she ran out the door.

She walked briskly towards the room she had been in earlier today. She had really enjoyed her music class, and she really like Mr. Everett as a teacher. She was really hoping that he would be the afterschool choir teacher too, she assumed he would be, but you never knew. She rounded the corner and walked into the room, checking the clock that was hanging on the wall. Good she thought Right in time. She smiled when she saw that Mr. Everett was, in fact, the afterschool choir teacher. "Hi Mr. Everett!" She said with a smile. There were two other girls sitting in the chairs that had been pulled into a smaller circle than that they had been earlier in the day. One if the girls was the cheerleader she had met in music earlier, the other girl she hadn't met yet. She decided to take a seat next to the other girl. "Hi," she said, "I'm Everleigh."

Once again, Jason found himself heading for the music room. However, this time he had stopped by his dorm to change out of his rather horsey-smelling coat. And unlike last time, he had left all instruments where they were. It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that it would be best not to bring a guitar to choir. He had frowned slightly as he saw a notice taped to his doorway, informing him that he would soon be getting a roommate. Guess that means I'll have to tidy up a bit. Wonder what he'll be like. He thought absently as he locked the door once more.

Entering the band room, Jason was honestly not surprised to find that Mr. Everett would be their choir master. Looks like he would get to know the sandy-haired teacher pretty well over the semester. "So we meet again." The teenager said, an easy grin on his face. Looking around the room for a chair to claim, Jason took the chance to look more closely at the three girls. Two of them he recognized from prior classes, and it was quite possible that he shared an equestrian class with the third. He found a chair that was not too far from the others so that he seemed like a misanthrope, but not quite so close as to seem like he planned to strike up a conversation. No, not this time. The normally friendly boy had other things that weighed on his mind, most of them having to do with his rough voice.
