The Personality
Personality: Shinegami's name is earned not by her personality, but for her will and eagerness as a cattle horse. She is lively and often prone to trying to love on every human being that near her, though every flaw seems to fall away whenever she is in the arena. Simi will do whatever is necessary to please her rider, and if she was a race horse she would be the one creature capable and willing enough to gallop until she drops. Despite her love of dogs and cats, she hates all things creepy and crawly. If she is to find anything other than a human in her stall she is prone to rearing, bucking, and kicking (even if you are in the stall with her).

The History
Basic History: Shinegami has a pretty simple past, with no barns on fire or abusive owners or anything of the sort. The appaloosa mare was born in a ranch and spent many years being trained as a cattle horse, before she had been bought by a young woman who had taken the mare and stuck her into as many different western competitions as she could. A little while afterwards she had been shifted to another owner once again, this time a man who competed in various disciplines, despite her dominance of western.

Before she had come to Blue Ridge the stable she had been kept at had had a problem with a groom who had been fooling around and lost control of a stallion in boarding, and said stallion had found his way over to the pastures. Thus, before coming to Blue Ridge, the mare had been pregnant and near dropping. In a tight situation concerning finances the man had posted the mare for online sale, "accidentally" leaving out that the mare was near her due date. Upon encountering the ad Red Willow hand Kieran Gold had discussed buying the mare, and the man had been kind enough to deliver the nearby mare to Blue Ridge, though it was actually in hopes of preventing Kieran from changing his mind. 

Needless to say Kieran had taken pity upon the mare, and had accepted her as his anyway (with a large reduction of price), despite his fear of taking care of things.
