The Personality
Personality: Deshta is an easy going mare. She is very calm around kids, and dogs. She loves meeting new horses and is very friendly towards people as well as horses. Deshta is a very reliable horse. She has a great work ethic and is very intelligent. You have to check that her stall door is locked completely or she can undo the lock on her stall door. Deshta is a very mischievous horse and a comedian at times. Deshta loves to try human food like Cheetos and Fritos. Once she picked up a glass of beer that someone left behind, drank it and set it back down. She is always alert and is very kind towards people and animals alike.
Caution Around: Leaving her door unlocked,leaving anything behind (i.e. brushes)
The History
Basic History: Deshta was born at a Zweibrücker breeding farm. She was handled from birth by adults and children so she was always around kids. Deshta was branded with the Zweibrucker brand. At 3 years old Deshta was being broke to ride. She took to it very easily and didn't mind it at all. Deshta was broke to ride very easily and tried her hardest for her owners. After Deshta was broke she was sold to a lesson program. The lady didn't use her in lessons yet but that was the plan. After a year or so she was being ridden more frequently. At 6 years old Deshta was ridden by Annalise as a lesson horse. Annalise and Deshta got a long very well. After the pair rode for a few weeks Deshta was bought by Annalise's parents for Annalise. Annalise and Deshta rode about 3 times a week and Deshta was moved to the Ehrlichmann's farm. Deshta got along good with the other horses and animals that were on the farm. After a few months Deshta and Annalise moved from Germany to the United States. The pair moved to Kentucky so Annalise could go to Blue Ridge. Deshta stayed at the Smith's farm which who Annalise's host family are. Now Deshta and Annalise are in there way to Blue Ridge.
