Full History>> A little baby girl was born in January 24, 1999 to Alexei and Alexandra Petrova. She was given the name of Anya but this would soon change. The little girl was taken home from the hospital as soon as she was ok to go to her new home with her parents. She would be the only child her parents ever had even though Alexei and Alexandra wanted at least two children. Sadly that wasn't going to happen. At one year old her parents decided to get a baby sitter so they could go out to dinner to celebrate their second wedding anniversary. Anya was with her baby sitter, Katerina. Her parents were on their way home to their child when they were hit by a semi truck. They were killed instantly. At about midnight Katerina decided to call Anya's parents and see where they were. However at one in the morning the police came to Alexei and Alexandra's house to inform the baby sitter of what had happened. Katerina took Anya home with her that night and took care of her until an orphanage could come get here. She wanted to adopt the child but was moving to Canada and couldn't adopt Anya in time to leave for Canada on time.
Anya was put in an orphanage and was treated well for the first year she was there. After that she began to hit for doing something wrong such as tripping over her feet or breaking something by running into on accident. When she was two and a half she got her first broken bone. Luckily it healed fine but it would be the first broken bone of many yet to come. When she was six years old she was taken out of the orphanage by Grigori Pavlov and Ekaterina Pavlova. Her foster mother owned a horse farm and her father was a doctor who worked at a local hospital in Moscow. The two cared for Anya as if she was one of their own. Anya wasn't the only child in the house. Her foster parents also had an older daughter named Irina. Irina was two years older then Anya but they were like sisters. They had their small fights but other then that they were best friends. Anya was taught to ride almost as soon as she got there. She had seen the horses and her foster mother had offered to teach her to ride if she wanted. Anya agreed and immediately took to a horse. She was a natural.
When Anya was seven her foster parents had told her that they wanted to adopt her. They had told her because they wanted to see if she would want to be their daughter. She immediately said yes and her new parents were so happy. Irina was also happy because she finally had a sibling. She was adopted soon after. She had asked her parents if she could get a new name. Her parents said she could but they wanted her to be sure. She thought about it for a day before she decided that she was sure. Her new parents said she could choose her first name if she wanted. Anya choose the name Natalia. Natalia Grigorieva Pavlova.
Natalia was twelve years old when her parents decided to look at getting her a horse. Irina had gotten a horse at twelve so it was only fair that Natalia got a horse at twelve. Her mother asked what breed of horse she wanted. Natalia decided that she wanted an Andalusian. She had read about them and seen them in real life. They were so beautiful and looked very majestic. Horses were majestic animals but Andalusians were the most majestic of horses. Or that's was Natalia thought anyway. Her mother and her looked at many Andalusians in Russia before they found Dovol'no Karmen a dunskin Andalusian mare. Natalia tried the mare and immediately fell in love with the mare. Her mother decided they were a good pair and bought the mare. At thirteen Natalia and the mare entered their first competition. The two did very well. They got first in dressage, show jumping, and cross country.
When Natalia was thirteen her parents decided to move to the United States. Natalia was distraught at having to leave Russia and Karmen. However her parents said that they'd keep the farm and house and that she'd be able to take Karmen with her. The family packed up their bags and got on a plane to the United States. Karmen would be coming on another plane. Finally they arrived in Kentucky. The family went to their new house and unpacked their bags before they had to go pick up the horses. The horses were fine and settled in nicely. Over the summer Natalia looked up schools. Blue Ridge Riding Academy was one of the first schools to pop up. Natalia talked with her parents and Irina about going there. They weren't happy but decided that the school was close enough. She sent in an application and anxiously awaited the reply. A few weeks before summer was over she got a reply back that she was accepted. She packed her bags and is now headed to Blue Ridge with Karmen.
