The Personality
Personality: Drake is your classic robust and lithe Hanoverian horse. He's a willing mount, but does have a head of his own, his intelligence making him a challenging ride, but once you gain his trust he is a thrill to ride. He doesn't respond well to riders who don't know what they're doing and still needs a strong and experienced hand. When it comes to the show ring he's a star and handles well under pressure. He has enough experience under his belt to add to his rider's advantage, but he still has more room to grow.

The History
History: Drake was born and bred in Australia and was raised and trained with the best. Taylor came to own this tall brute when he was 7 years old. A fairly new ride, Taylor and his family purchased this gelding just for him, as Ty's skills were becoming more advanced and he needed a more challenging ride. With five years of eventing experience he's on the intermediate level and is no rookie, but is green and energized enough to grow and challenge Ty and his riding skills. The two have hit it off famously and though Drake can act up every now and then, it only makes him a great eventing ride. Both Drake and Ty push and challenge each other in all areas.

The Personality
Personality: Uri is a hot horse. He's sensitive and independent and doesn't respond well to amateur hands. Establishing a relationship and repertoire with him is a must if you want him to mind you, but once you have his respect, Uri is one of the best rides you will ever have. He thinks and can get his rider out of a bind if they make a poor judgement, but be careful not to make too many or he will stop sticking his neck out for you. He's a phenomenal performer and has smooth gait transitions, but in the dressage arena he can fight to do his own thing, again if he doesn't mind the rider. All in all, respect is a must with this prideful gelding.
Caution Around: Can bite. Known to balk when frustrated with rider.

The History
Basic History: Born and raised in Belgium, Uri was trained from a young age in the disciplines of dressage and show jumping and excelled at the higher levels. Uri's owner and breeder has brought the gelding along very nicely, but with more pressing horses to train he looked for a good home for the seasoned chestnut. Taylor's parents have a connection with the trainer and heard the horse would soon be going on the market. They immediately called the owner and brokered a deal. Uri is expected to help bring Taylor along even further than he's come along with Drake.
