Avery Grace is quite the character. In her professional life as a vaulting instructor at this prestigious institution, she has a fantastic teaching personality. When around her students, she is incredibly friendly and approachable. Although she is a perfectionist, she has learned to be patient with her pupils. Oftentimes, she comes across more as a friend than an authoritative figure. However, her relaxed personality earns her respect from her students. When she is on the back of her horse, she is very calm and collected, which is quite important when practicing the art of vaulting. On the other hand, in her personal life, she can be a little bit of a space cadet. She often gets very hyper and silly for hours at a time. She is fun-loving and easy to be around for both short and long periods of time. A personality downfall is that when she finds herself upset, it often takes days to bring herself back to her happy demeanor. Avery Grace is a tiny little thing. Since she has started, she has been mistook for a student countless times. She weighs in at one hundred and twenty pounds and she stands five feet and three inches. She has a very pale complexion because she constantly slathers on sunscreen in order to prevent skin cancer. Her natural hair color is strawberry blonde, but she has been dying it bleach blonde since she was a teenager. Occasionally, she'll throw in some colored low lights when she has the extra money. She has pretty blue eyes that she accents with a little bit too much makeup. When she is assuming her instructor role, she wears simple riding clothes, such as tan riding pants and solid colored v-neck shirts with black boots. When she is out and about in her personal life, she generally wears lots of bright colored tank tops and shorts. Overall, she is a fairly stylish lady.

Overall, she young girl had a pretty decent childhood. She was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, where she grew up with two loving parents and a few siblings. She was lucky enough to be able to go to a nice private school, and she was able to pursue a handful of hobbies. She practiced soccer, ballet, acting, softball, painting, and singing. However, her true passions were both horse back riding and gymnastics. She spent a lot of time perfecting her craft in these areas all throughout high school, where she eventually blended the two into vaulting. Avery competed in vaulting at the national level, and she spent many summers traveling to different fairs to perform.
Problems seemed to arise once she graduated. She graduated from school in the top twenty-five percent of her class, and she could have gone to a decent university. Unfortunately, her vaulting career took up a considerable amount of time and distracted her from enrolling in college. Instead, she spent more time competing. Although she was good, she eventually came to realize that she would not be able to form a career from her sport. She ended up taking a step back in order to go to beauty school. She made it about half way through before realizing that it was not her calling. She spent months trying to figure out what she wanted to do with her life. She tried all sorts of things, but did not excel at much. Her parents ended up gently kicking her out of the house because they believed that she needed to buckle down and get a job. She moved around Miami working in strip clubs and a porn actress, thanks to her performing arts background. She worked in this industry for over a year. Once her parents got wind of her career choice, they pulled some strings with an older equestrian contact in order to get her a more professional job. She gladly accepted their help. Avery then moved up North to Kentucky to assume the position of vaulting instructor at Blue Ridge.

Hercules is really quite a handful. Because he is only four years old, he still has some puppy tendencies inside of him. Avery really cannot wait until he grows up and settles down a little. For right now he is a high strung, excessively energetic dog. His energy, size, and strength cause him to be a nuisance occasionally. He loves to run around and jump all over the furniture. Avery cannot count the number of things that he has broken in her home. Luckily she loves hime with her whole heart, so she is willing to put up with lots of slobber and broken belongings.

Avery obtained Hercules through a rescue effort of sorts. During the period of time when Avery was moving between various cities in Florida, she met a few particularly shady people. One of these particular people was a man named Neil, who was involved with drug dealing. While Avery never felt the need to engage in drug usage, many of the girls she danced with did. One night, she ended up at Neil's house for an after party of sorts with her friends from the club. It was then that she met Hercules. He was very dirty and cramped into a small area in the apartment. Avery was disgusted by the conditions. She offered Neil the $600 she made that night dancing for the poor dog. Being the greedy man that he was, he sold the dog to her without any questions asked. She and Hercules became best friends very quickly, and he has stayed by her side ever since.
